In 2007, President George W. Bush spoke at the Islamic Center of Washington, D.C. and was introduced by the mosque’s director; the latter had a history that included time spent as a representative of an organization that has enabled Al-Qaeda. This was also the same mosque at which Bush spoke six days after 9/11/01 with Nihad Awad – Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) – at his side.
Before delving into the history of the Islamic Center of Washington of Washington, D.C., consider the Ground Zero mosque for a moment. It was named ‘Cordoba House’ and the name was changed as opposition to the mosque grew and people began to learn more about the symbolic significance of the initial word choice, which was a city in Spain.
…the Christian city was conquered by Muslims around 711, its inhabitants slaughtered or enslaved. The original mosque of Cordoba—the namesake of the Ground Zero mosque—was built atop, and partly from the materials of, a Christian church. Modern day Muslims are well aware of all this. Such is the true—and ominous—legacy of Cordoba.
More pointedly, throughout Islam’s history, whenever a region was conquered, one of the first signs of consolidation was/is the erection of a mosque atop the sacred sites of the vanquished: the pagan Ka’ba temple in Arabia was converted into Islam’s holiest site, the mosque of Mecca; the al-Aqsa mosque, Islam’s third holiest site, was built atop Solomon’s temple in Jerusalem; the Umayyad mosque was built atop the Church of St. John the Baptist; and the Hagia Sophia was converted into a mosque upon the conquest of Constantinople.
With that as a premise, shouldn’t Americans take a second look at the motivation behind the Islamic Center of Washington, DC? If Islamic fundamentalists were to follow the formula of their forefathers and wanted to construct a symbol of future conquest, wouldn’t they seek to do so at the heart of the Capital of the country that won the war?
Check out this excerpt from the history page of the mosque’s website:
The Foundation’s membership quickly grew to include representatives from every Islamic nation in the world and American citizens. They all supported the Foundation’s appeal for funds. They managed to raise enough money that enabled them to purchase the land that the Center sits on now on Washington’s “Embassy Row”. They purchased the land on April 30, 1946, and laid the cornerstone on January 11, 1949.
Take note of those two dates in bold.
Generally, when people think of the defeated axis of enemies in World War II, Japan, Italy, and Nazi Germany come to mind but the Nazis had an ally that was never defeated. In fact, that ally never stopped fighting; that ally was the Muslim Brotherhood.
Again, if one accepts the notion that symbolism in Islam is very important, consider the date the land was purchased. Adolf Hitler’s death occurred one year earlier, on April 30, 1945.
None of the bunker’s survivors heard the shot that killed Hitler. At 15.15 on April 30th, Bormann, Goebbels, Heinz Linge, Hitler’s valet, Otto Gunshce and Artur Axmann, Head of the Hitler Youth, entered Hitler’s sitting room. Gunsche and Linge wrapped the body of Hitler in a blanket and carried it to the Reich Chancellery garden.
Coincidence? Possibly.
How about January 11, 1949 – the date the cornerstone was laid. That date could be significant.
Tuesday 11 Raby` al-awal 1368 A.H. Laying the cornerstone on Jan 11, 1949 in the Islamic calendar is a day prior to the 12th day of Rabi-al-Awwal, which marks the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, but keep in mind that Saudi Arabia is 10 hours ahead of the United States. While it was the 11th in the United States, it was very possibly the 12th in Saudi Arabia.
On June 28, 1957, President Dwight Eisenhower was on-hand to dedicate the mosque. Click here for the video of a news report at the time.
The countries which have sponsored and built this Islamic Center have for centuries contributed to the building of civilization. With their traditions of learning and rich culture, the countries of Islam have added much to the advancement of mankind. Inspired by a sense of brotherhood, common to our innermost beliefs, we can here together reaffirm our determination to secure the foundations of a just and lasting peace.
“Brotherhood” is indeed an interesting word choice. Eisenhower ended his speech thusly:
Our country has long enjoyed a strong bond of friendship with the Islamic nations. . . . Under the American Constitution, . . . this Center, this place of worship, is as welcome as could be any similar edifice of any religion. Indeed, America would fight with her whole strength for your right to have your own church and worship according to your own conscience. Without this, we would be something else than what we are.
Doesn’t the “conscience” of the Muslim “Brotherhood” involve destroying America from within?
President George W. Bush returned to the Washington, DC mosque for the RE-dedication ceremony in 2007, fifty years after Eisenhower did it originally. The man who introduced Bush in the clip below is the mosque’s director, Abdullah M. Khouj, who began his tenure there in 1984. According to the Weekly Standard’s Stephen Schwartz, Saudi officials took over the mosque in 1983 and Khouj was subsequently appointed. Khouj has been a representative for the Muslim World League (MWL):
Khouj represented the Muslim World League (MWL), founded in Saudi Arabia in 1962 as an international agency for the propagation of Wahhabism. In 2006, relief branches of the MWL in Southeast Asia would be designated by the U.S. Treasury as financing fronts for al Qaeda. In addition, Khouj was admitted to the United States as a diplomat, allegedly serving as an attaché at the Saudi Embassy, but actually dedicated to advancing the most radical interpretation of Islam in history.
The MWL is significant for many reasons but one such reason is its involvement as the umbrella organization for the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA). This is the same IMMA where Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin, worked as an assistant editor for at least twelve years until leaving in 2009, to work for Clinton at the State Department. The man responsible for launching the IMMA was none other than Abdullah Omar Naseef, who was the Secretary General of the MWL when Khouj became the Director of the Washington mosque.
“It [Muslim Minority Affairs] will work under the umbrella of the Muslim World League (MWL) and the International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) and World Association of Muslim Youth (WAMY) and others.”
Remember, Naseef also founded the Rabita Trust, an entity that was headed by Al-Qaeda founder Wael Hamza Julaidan and identified by the U.S. Treasury Department in October of 2001 as a terrorist organization. If Naseef was commissioned by the Saudi Royal family to found the IMMA, it would seem to indicate a willingness on the part of the Brotherhood and the Saudis to work together in some respects, the furthering of Islam in foreign lands, for example.
That’s what the IMMA is all about.
It’s important to remember that Khouj – the man who introduced Bush at the Washington, D.C. mosque re-dedication ceremony – was a representative of the MWL at the time of his being named director, according to Schwartz. The Rabita Trust was founded in 1988 by Naseef, four years after Khouj became the Director of the mosque.
Before watching the video of Bush’s 2007 speech inside the mosque, consider that less than six years earlier, the Rabita Trust had been shut down by the Bush administration as a “Global Terrorist Entity”. As a representative of the MWL, Khouj ultimately worked for an organization whose Secretary General from 1983-1993 was none other than Al-Qaeda financier, Abdullah Omar Naseef.
Note at the 1:15 mark in the video below that Bush references Eisenhower’s speech from 1957 and quotes the former president. Said Bush:
“He (Eisenhower) asked that together we commit ourselves ‘to peaceful progress of all men under one God.’”
This had not been the first time that Bush had conflated Islam and Christianity. William Murray, of the Religious Freedom Coalition chronicled his experiences in the days after 9/11 and wrote the following about what he witnessed on 9/14/01 at the National Cathedral, where then head of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) – Muzammil Siddiqi – was in attendance:
Our Christian President had bowed his head to prayers offered to other gods, prayers that may have been for those who would destroy our nation and enslave our children to an alien religion. At that moment the hand of protection of the true God was removed from our nation.
Here is Bush at the 2007 re-dedication ceremony inside the Islamic Center of Washington, D.C.
According to Schwartz, the mosque was built at the urging of various Muslim groups, to include the Turks. In 1998, before becoming Prime Minister of Turkey – Recep Tayyip Erdoğan – quoted from the following poem during a speech:
“The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers…”
Go figure. Today, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamist government of Turkey seem to be working together.
In 2002, PBS produced a documentary on the life of Muhammad, Muhammad: Legacy of a Prophet. I wrote in a National Review article at the time that the documentary presented an “attractively packaged, sanitized version of Islam.” It features Islamic apologist Karen Armstrong; Daisy Khan, the deeplydeceitful“moderate” who shot to national prominence in the Ground Zero mosque controversy, and others of that ilk.
But now Jihad Watch reader Carolynn has alerted me to the fact that it is also noteworthy for capturing the slain jihad terror mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki, who was in contact with Major Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood jihad mass murderer; Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Christmas underwear jihadist; and others, leading Muslim prayers on Capitol Hill. Screenshots above show the minute mark where you can see him in the video.
Of course, the New York Times hailed al-Awlaki on October 19, 2001 as one of “a new generation of Muslim leader capable of merging East and West,” and so he was widely reputed to be a “moderate” at the time, but that’s just the point. One of the supposed “gotcha” quotes that Leftists and Islamic supremacists like to use against me is one in which I said that there is “no distinction in the American Muslim community between peaceful Muslims and jihadists.” This video, however, shows that to be absolutely true: no one was getting up and walking out on al-Awlaki, or saying he shouldn’t be preaching or leading the prayers. Many argue that al-Awlaki really was “moderate” then and became “radicalized” later, but even then, there is no record of his former friends and associates repudiating his new “radical” views.
What we do not see is Muslims in the U.S. pronouncing takfir on those who believe in the Islam of al-Awlaki — that is, declaring them non-Muslim and excluding them from Muslim communities. The reality is that one who holds to the idea that jihad (violent and non-violent) must be waged against Americans in order to impose Sharia upon them is not put out of American mosques, and those who by their actions earn the media title of “extremist” move freely among Muslims in the U.S. until they commit their act of “extremism.”
More evidence comes from the same PBS documentary. For also present for al-Awlaki’s sermon was Hamas-linked CAIR’s Nihad Awad, and I believe that the gentleman to Awad’s left is his henchman Ibrahim “Honest Ibe” Hooper:
Awad and Hooper, of course, are routinely cited in the mainstream media as if they were “civil rights leaders.” And also present was another man who had been an employee of Hamas-linked CAIR: Randall Todd “Ismail” Royer, who is now serving a 20-year sentence for jihad terror plotting. In this screenshot he is on the right:
So if there is a distinction in the Muslim community between peaceful Muslims and jihadists, it certainly wasn’t evident at this Capitol Hill prayer meeting, where a jihad mass murder mastermind preached the khutba for a group containing a jihad terror plotter, two leading “moderate” Muslim spokesmen, and a congressman’s chief of staff.
Excerpted from WND: In the 70 percent of Texas public schools where a private curriculum has been installed, students are learning the “fact” that “Allah is the Almighty God,” charge critics of a new online curriculum that already is facing condemnation for its secrecy and restrictions on oversight.
The program, called CSCOPE, is a private venture operating under the umbrella of the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative, whose incorporation documents state its independence from the State Board of Education of the Texas Education Agency.
Other reports previously have raised alarm over the curriculum’s depiction of the Boston Tea Party as a terrorist act on par with the 9/11 attack.
According to documentation that has leaked out, the program describes the Boston Tea Party this way: “A local militia, believed to be a terrorist organization, attacked the property of private citizens today at our nation’s busiest port. Although no one was injured in the attack, a large quantity of merchandise, considered to be valuable to its owners and loathsome to the perpetrators, was destroyed. The terrorists, dressed in disguise and apparently intoxicated, were able to escape into the night with the help of local citizens who harbor these fugitives and conceal their identities from the authorities. It is believed that the terrorist attack was a response to the policies enacted by the occupying country’s government. Even stronger policies are anticipated by the local citizens.”
There also have been reports that the curriculum – contrary to recent Supreme Court rulings – says the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the right to bear arms, is limited to state-run organizations.
“The collective right’s advocates believed that the Second Amendment did not apply to individuals; rather it recognized the right of a state to arm its militia. It recognized limited individual rights only when it was exercised by members of a functioning, organized militia while actively participating in the militia’s activities.”
Now come concerns about what critics describe as a definitively pro-Islam bias.
The critics say the studies border on proselytizing.
In one scenario, students are asked to study the tenets of Islam, and critics say the materials provided exceed impartial review of another faith, extending into requirements of conversion and moral imperatives.
A computer presentation utilized as part of a study of Islam includes information on how to convert, as well as verses denigrating other faiths.
According to excerpts, under the heading, “Who Is Allah?,” students are told:
“Allah is the Almighty God.”
“Allah alone is the Creator. He alone deserves our devout love and worship.”
Muhammad is described as having become “disillusioned with the corruption in the city and the growing gap between the urban dwellers and the Bedouins (nomadic herders).”
But there is no mention of his documented sex activities with a child or his penchant for beheading entire indigenous people groups.
CSCOPE’s geography curriculum also is being scrutinized.
A high school question on a geography test asks, “Which of the following has been a benefit of globalization?” Possible answers are as follows: a) pandemics, b) increased standard of living, c) loss of local culture, and finally, d) widespread environmental impacts.
The only “correct” answer accepted in the context of the test is “an increased standard of living.”
WND recently reported the Texas State Board of Education was hearing concerns expressed by parents.
The debate carries national significance because of the influence Texas has on textbook and curriculum publishers as the only state that adopts uniform standards.Keep reading >>
TORONTO - Toronto Police are calling the vandalism of a west-end war memorial “a hate crime.”
A woman walking Sunday night by the sculpture in Coronation Park — at
the foot of Strachan Ave. and Lakeshore Blvd. W. — called police after
noticing someone had taken a black marker and written “Canada will burn;
Praise Allah” on the memorial.
“This is an identifiable group,” Det. Anthony Williams told reporters
at the scene Monday. “The veterans should be respected. That’s a total
disrespect for our sworn members and military members who have made the
ultimate sacrifice.”
At the Remembrance Day ceremony at Old City Hall Sunday morning,
anti-war protesters were heard chanting during the two minutes of
silence.
Williams said he couldn’t speculate whether the vandalism was protest-related.
“I can’t speculate as to what their motivation is, but if they did
this on Nov. 10 or 11 … someone is looking for an opportunity to draw
attention to themselves,” he said.
City cleaners scrubbed the black letters off the memorial.
George Murphy, 72, whose father fought in the Battle of Monte Cassino
and in Normandy during the Second World War, teared up looking at the
monument.
“I think it’s terrible to see them destroy what these veterans have
done for us,” he said. “It’s like stepping on them. These people wanted
to protect our lives. My father would be very upset over this.”
John McEwen, 67, who built the memorial in 1995, said the monument
symbolizes the range of languages in Canada and recognizes the 50th
anniversary of the Second World War and the military contributions of
Canadians.
“Do I take it personally? No, and I don’t think the veterans should
take it personally,” he said. “Stupidity isn’t even politics. Stupidity
is ignorance and ignorance is an indulgence in a place where you don’t
know what’s going on.
“If you had any political agenda you were trying to serve, it’s just wasted.”
Mayor Rob Ford said he was sickened by the news of the war memorial being defaced.
“It really, really bothers me,” Ford said at City Hall on Monday.
“For someone to stoop to that level … people have sacrificed their lives for us to be here. It makes me absolutely sick.”
Mischief and vandalism charges could be likely, Williams said, but
there “are provisions for higher penalties when they are designated as a
hate crime.”
Officers were also investigating a sign at a lifeguard’s post near
the memorial, which had “Holy Jihad” written in black marker, to
determine if there was any connection with the vandalism found on the
memorial.
Police urge anyone with information to call 416-808-1400 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
A Documentary about the Muslim Brotherhood and their plans to take over the United States from the inside. Clinton, Bush and Obama are all aware. How many more in the Government are involved.
The Muslim Brotherhood "Project" The following English translation of The Project has been prepared by Scott Burgess and was first published in serial form by The Daily Ablution in December 2005 (Parts I, II, III, IV, V, Conclusion). It is based on the French text of The Project published in Sylvain Besson, La conquête de l'Occident: Le projet secret des Islamistes (Paris: Le Seuil, 2005), pp. 193-205.]
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent and Merciful S/5/100 report 1/12/1982 [December 1, 1982]
Towards a worldwide strategy for Islamic policy (Points of Departure, Elements, Procedures and Missions)
This report presents a global vision of a worldwide strategy for Islamic policy [or "political Islam"]. Local Islamic policies will be drawn up in the different regions in accordance with its guidelines. It acts, first of all, to define the points of departure of that policy, then to set up the components and the most important procedures linked to each point of departure; finally we suggest several missions, by way of example only, may Allah protect us.
The following are the principal points of departure of this policy: Point of Departure 1: To know the terrain and adopt a scientific methodology for its planning and execution. Point of Departure 2: To demonstrate proof of the serious nature of the work. Point of Departure 3: To reconcile international engagement with flexibility at a local level. Point of Departure 4: To reconcile political engagement and the necessity of avoiding isolation on one hand, with permanent education and institutional action on the other. Point of Departure 5: To be used to establish an Islamic State; parallel, progressive efforts targeted at controlling the local centers of power through institutional action. Point of Departure 6: To work with loyalty alongside Islamic groups and institutions in multiple areas to agree on common ground, in order to "cooperate on the points of agreement and set aside the points of disagreement". Point of Departure 7: To accept the principle of temporary cooperation between Islamic movements and nationalist movements in the broad sphere and on common ground such as the struggle against colonialism, preaching and the Jewish state, without however having to form alliances. This will require, on the other hand, limited contacts between certain leaders, on a case by case basis, as long as these contacts do not violate the [shari’a] law. Nevertheless, one must not give them allegiance or take them into confidence, bearing in mind that the Islamic movement must be the origin of the initiatives and orientations taken. Point of Departure 8: To master the art of the possible on a temporary basis without abusing the basic principles, bearing in mind that Allah's teachings always apply. One must order the suitable and forbid that which is not, always providing a documented opinion. But we should not look for confrontation with our adversaries, at the local or the global scale, which would be disproportionate and could lead to attacks against the dawa or its disciples. Point of Departure 9: To construct a permanent force of the Islamic dawa and support movements engaged in jihad across the Muslim world, to varying degrees and insofar as possible. Point of Departure 10: To use diverse and varied surveillance systems, in several places, to gather information and adopt a single effective warning system serving the worldwide Islamic movement. In fact, surveillance, policy decisions and effective communications complement each other. Point of Departure 11: To adopt the Palestinian cause as part of a worldwide Islamic plan, with the policy plan and by means of jihad, since it acts as the keystone of the renaissance of the Arab world today. Point of Departure 12: To know how to turn to self-criticism and permanent evaluation of worldwide Islamic policy and its objectives, of its content and its procedures, in order to improve it. This is a duty and a necessity according to the precepts of shari’a.
THE FIRST POINT OF DEPARTURE: Know the terrain and adopt a scientific methodology for [The Project's] planning and execution. a- Elements: Know the influential factors in the world, whether they act as Islamic forces, adverse forces, or neutral forces. Use the necessary scientific and technical means for planning, organization, execution and follow-up. b- Procedures: Create observation centers in order to gather and store information for all useful purposes, if need be relying on modern technological methods. Create centers of study and research and produce studies on the political dimension of the Islamic movement. c- Suggested missions: Draw up a map of [religious and ideological] doctrines in the world to have a global vision from 100 years ago to our era, and analyze the current situation in light of that configuration, taking account of changes both happening and predicted. Draw up a map of doctrines of the Muslim world. Draw up a map of Islamic movements in the Muslim world. Carry out successive political and scientific studies in varying Islamic areas, those which apply more particularly to current events. Carry out a scientific study which addresses the history of contemporary Islamic movements, and use it.
THE SECOND POINT OF DEPARTURE To demonstrate proof of the serious nature of the work. a- Elements: Clarity of the principal objectives of the dawa in the eyes of all, as well as clarity of the temporary objectives, necessitates exploitation, channeling and orientation of the energies. Devote sufficient effort to the service of the workers [for Allah] and coordinate their efforts to the sole and same objective. Devote sufficient time. Spend money to the extent possible. b-Procedures: Exploit all the energies of the workers to the service of the dawa, each at his level (the criterion of efficiency, given that each must be devoted to the task to which he's assigned). Mobilize the greatest possible number of supporters and officials. Collect money efficiently, control expenses and invest in the general interest. c- Suggested missions: Carry out a survey of workers (appropriate men and appropriate location) Establish schedules with the hours of workers and specialists and use their efforts with good judgment and on time (appropriate effort at the right time). An engagement with economic institutions adequate to support the cause financially.
In 2001, an inconspicuous manifesto now known as "The Project" was
recovered during a raid in Switzerland: A manifesto that turned out to
be a Muslim roadmap for infiltrating and defeating the West. Today,
files containing evidence from the largest terror financing trial in
U.S. history, which include details about "The Project", are being
withheld by the Department of Justice.
In an explosive two-part mini-series, TheBlaze documentary unit
investigates how the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the American
government and exposes how our nation's safety is in jeopardy as a
result of this dangerous government cover up.
A stunning video posted on the Internet is evidence that revenge and
honor killings are on the increase in Egypt, according to an expert on
the region.
Middle East analyst Theodore Shoebat, the son of former terrorist Walid Shoebat, says the killing is related to the Islamic practice of honor killing.
On Sunday, with no precedent in Norwegian history, Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg appointed Hadia Tajik, a 29-year-old Muslim woman, as minister of culture, making Tajik the youngest minister in the Norwegian Cabinet and the first ever Muslim in the Norwegian government.
The newly appointed minister of culture has already publicized her program for the upcoming months and highlighted that cultural diversity should become an undisputable part of Norway’s everyday life. Tajik had worked as journalist before she was made advisor to Minister of Justice, Knut Storberget between 2008 and 1009. During her service under Storberget the ministry of justice decided to allow police women to wear the hijab in the service, but the decision was quickly withdrawn after intense criticism from conservative parties and members of the government coalition.
Oh yes. Absolutely indisputable.
Hadia Tajik wanted to participate in the pro-Hamas terrorist flotilla and made a show of wearing a terror-scarf Kefiyyah in the Norwegian parliament. One can only imagine what she will do as Culture Minister. More >>
Tarek Fatah would gladly have terrorist Omar Khadr over for dinner, he told the Canadian Patriotic Society in Toronto on Wednesday evening. Most certainly the young Canadian, an inmate at Guantanamo, can come back to Canada, his country.
Fatah, a Muslim and tireless human rights activist, is speaking at The Return of Omar Khadr- the Unholy Alliance of Islamism and the Left, not to the usual deluded who frequently gather to decry the alleged “torture” of this “child soldier.” The cold blooded killer, who trained eagerly and willingly with al Qaeda in poisons, bomb making, and urban warfare tactics, is the darling of the “social justice” crowd. There is the usual dead silence from these about the hundreds of thousands of innocent children enduring real torture and slavery and rape and castration, but an unrepentant jihadist? Now there’s a Canadian hero.
It's official: The Muslim Brotherhood rules Egypt. After a tense several months in which the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces attempted several times to reassert control over the levers of power, Egypt's electoral council today announced that Mohammed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood's candidate, has been elected president of Egypt.
The SCAF had assured American interlocutors during the voting that they intend to swiftly hand over power to whomsoever was elected. But they also asserted a decree making themselves arbiters of the yet-to-be-written constitution and wielders of parliamentary powers until a new parliament can be elected (Egyptian courts had dismissed parliament last week, worrying many of collusion between the military and judiciary).
It is illustrative of the tumult Egypt has experienced since protests drove Hosni Mubarak from power that electing an Islamist president seems a less worrisome outcome than the election of a secular alternative that represents the corrupt "deep state" that Mubarak and his military cabal kept Egypt submerged under for 30 years.
Mubarak argued that without his strong hand, jihadist radicals would take over Egypt. American administrations of both parties agreed with him, or at least were fearful enough we did precious little to attenuate his grip. A speech on the inevitability of democracy here, some minor funding of political party organization there...but neither Republicans nor Democrats redeemed our universal values in Egypt.
Presidents of either party were unwilling to risk unwelcome change in Egypt of the kind elections brought in Palestine, where a party that brought violence into politics was voted into power. But the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is not Hamas in Gaza. Even in Gaza, Hamas has lost significant public support because of its incapacity to govern. The desire for safe streets, good schools, and functioning sewer systems is the true universality on which democracy attenuates extremism.
Both in Gaza and in Egypt, Islamist parties are being held accountable, not just for ideology but for governance. This is the basis for the drop in popularity of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt after their victory in the parliamentary elections last spring. Egyptian voters were put off by their ineffectualness, by their mendacity in committing to coalition governance then taking power on their own when it proved possible, by their claiming they would not run a presidential candidate since they controlled parliament and then entering a candidate in the presidential sweepstakes.
Voters did question their motives, take them to task for their reversals. A huge part of the appeal of Brotherhood candidates in Egypt has been their opposition during the Mubarak years. They seem to have clean hands, and that is an enormous political advantage as Egypt shakes off the tawdry hold of Mubarak's spoils system. It appears to have been enough to carry the presidential election, a stunning rebuke of the "secular" military.
There is much to be concerned about with the Muslim Brotherhood coming to power. They have been staunchly anti-American. They intend to reform the basis of society with Koranic law as its foundation. They are profoundly uncomfortable with Western mores, especially where the rights of women and religious minorities are concerned.
But this does not mean Egypt's Muslim Brothers will be anti-democratic. In fact, they proved the more democratic force than SCAF since Mubarak's overthrow. There is little sign yet that they will refuse to play by the rules -- SCAF was more likely to bring about "one man, one vote, one time" than the Muslim Brotherhood.
Egypt's transition is disconcertingly messy. Both the process and the victors raise a serious question about how worried Americans should be about Egyptians' commitment to democracy. But with the advocates of representative government is still where we should place our bets, and offer our assistance.

Hamas, also known as the “Islamic Resistance Movement,” is an organization that has engaged in countless suicide bombings, against unarmed civilians. 50% of their funding comes from the Saudis through “Islamic charity organizations.” The acts of Islamic terrorism by Hamas have been aimed primarily at killing Jews. The US State Department, Canada, Japan, Israel and the entire European Union have named Hamas as an Islamic terrorist organization.
The Hamas Charter, identified Hamas as the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine and declares its members to be Muslims who “raise the banner of Jihad.” The Hamas charter states that “our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious” and calls for the obliteration of the Jewish State.
To put the Islamic preoccupation with killing the Jews into its proper context, here is a piece of scripture from the Muslim holy book called the Hadith:
The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him. (Sahih Muslim, 41:6985; see also 41:6981-84 and Sahih Bukhari, 4:52:176,177 and 4:56:791)
The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, TN recently defied court orders to cease construction of a 53,000 square foot mega mosque. At the time of this article the ICM are building defiantly, as fast as they can. Once completed, this massive structure, we are expected to believe, is designed to accommodate only a couple hundred Muslim families, with millions of dollars in questionable financing. To say that something is a little fishy here would be an understatement.
Pictured Above: Construction of the 53,000 square foot Islamic facility.
On the board of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, TN is a man named Mosaad Rowash. The purpose of this article is to ask one question and one question only: Why is a senior leader of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, posting pictures which express his overwhelmingly allegiance, loyalty, and a love for Hamas?
WHO IS MOSAAD ROWASH?
Pictured Above: Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, Board Member Mosaad Rowash in an MTSU shirt, at a Muslim American Society (MAS) Camp.
Interesting fact about the MAS (Muslim American Society) is that it is a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood, whom we will be looking at more closely in just a moment. First, let’s look at some of the images that Mosaad Rowash posted online to his large network of friends throughout the Islamic world. More >>
Work on a mega-mosque already well along in the construction process
in Murfreesboro, Tenn., has been shut down – the existing building’s
future uncertain – by a court’s ruling the county avoided the legal
process required for granting building permission for the project.
The ruling said the county’s actions effectively violated the state’s
Open Meetings law during the time when the mega-structure was being
approved.
“The court finds that the action of the county was not sufficient to
provide the type of notice to citizens of the county that such matters
were to be considered at the meeting of the Rutherford County Regional
Planning Commission which should be expected under our law,” said the
opinion made public today from the Chancery Court of Tennessee, 16th
District.
“Under the mandates of the statute, the court then finds that the
actions of that commission regarding the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro
were in fact void and of no effect.”
While there was a notice of the meeting in a local newspaper, the
paper itself had “virtually no paid circulation,” and there was no
showing of any notice on the county’s cable television station or on its
website.
“The court assumed there was no ill intention or willful deception on the part of the county,” the ruling continued.
“We do not attribute any sinister motives to the county, though we
note the undercurrent of the argument presented by the plaintiffs. We
simply find that the county failed to publish the meeting…”
The opinion noted that under the county regulations there is not an
entitlement to a public hearing, but there is a requirement that the
public be properly notified.
It further said that the denial of permission for a building to be
used “as a religious meeting place” must be done in a non-discriminatory
manner.
Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation,
one of the attorneys working with the plaintiffs in the case, told WND
the next step likely will be a renewal of the attempts by the county to
grant building permission. He credited other attorneys on the case, Joe
Brandon and Tom Smith, with arguing the case successfully.
He said the plaintiffs contended the process ignored several factors,
including that the land where the now-unusable building stands formerly
was a pig farm, which is supposed to be anathema to Muslims.
He called it a “political power move” on the part of the powers who wanted the mosque to be built.
The Muslim organization building the mega-mosque had obtained
permission for nearly 53,000 square feet of buildings on its lot of
land, and the first 12,000-square-soot section was nearly done.
Rutherford County officials have said that they don’t expect any
buildings to be torn down, even though the process was violated.
She revealed how the Department of Justice, which though it has named
the Islamic Society of North America, the Council on American-Islamic
Relations and other key Muslim groups and figures as unindicted
co-conspirators in a scheme to fund the Palestinian terrorist group
Hamas, filed a friend-of-the-court brief demanding that the case against
the Murfreesboro mosque be dismissed.

¿No me envidias?”.

Has sufrido mucho, hombre, entra, te has ganado el cielo.
