Veteran Indiana GOP senator Richard Lugar, faces a serious primary challenge this election cycle.

Every patriotic american should be praying that “Dangerous Dick’” is soundly defeated, and is never elected, or appointed  to any form of public office again.

Richard Lugar is not merely a leftist Republican – there are plenty of those.  “Dangerous Dick” is in a league all of his own.

What makes Lugar so dangerous is his long standing ties to an anti – American,  Marxist led “peace” Political Action Committee, which has campaigned to cut US military preparedness and defense capabilities for 50 years.

The New START Disarmament Treaty with Moscow passed the Senate in late December 2010, 71 votes to 26.

Several Republicans voted with the Democrats and Independents, despite strong pressure from the GOP grassroots to vote against it.

There is no question that Richard Lugar , as co-leader, with far leftist Democrat John Kerry of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was the leading Republican in favor of the treaty, and must ultimately take responsibility for its ratification.

Leftist journalist and member of the infamous JournoList, Spencer Ackerman wrote in The Washington Independent,

In the spirit of self-criticism, something that I see my New START coverage has taken for granted is the support of Sen. Richard Lugar (R-Ind.), the leading arms-control baron on the Republican side in the Senate…

Lugar is firmly behind the Obama administration’s new treaty to reduce the U.S.-Russian nuclear stockpile and the deployed systems that can deliver those deadly payloads. So if you assume every Democratic senator will vote for the treaty when it comes up for ratification, Lugar’s vote brings the count to 60. The question is whether Lugar’s vote can bring along seven other Republicans.

In the end Lugar convinced more than enough Republicans to vote for a treaty that was enthusiastically backed by the Democrats, the Russians, the Socialist International and the Communist Party USA.

How is it that a GOP Senator from Republican stronghold Indiana could be such a life-long proponent of disarmament treaties?

In my view, the answer  lies  in Lugar’s long time connection to the Council for a Livable World.

Founded in 1962 by Manhattan Project nuclear scientist, leftist and reported  Soviet agent Leo Szilard, and led by long time Socialist Party USA/Democratic Socialists of America affiliate  Jerome Grossman and more lately   senior Democrat Congressman turned D.S.A. member  David Bonior, C.L.W.is the U.S.’s leading pro-disarmament lobby group/PAC.
The C.L.W. has funded hundreds of U.S. Senators and Congressmen in its history, almost all Democrats. In recent years Lugar has been the only Republican to receive C.L.W. largess.

C.L.W.’s long time CEO Jerome Grossman claims that by funding Senators at the beginning of their careers, the C.L.W. was able to influence them later when needed.

Now Council for a Livable World is playing the money game… We try to find obscure people who would make good Senators or Representatives and early on try to give them the initial funding. Now we can’t compete with the big money. We only raise a million and a half each election cycle. But that’s a million and a half that has no cost to them. Because we get in early, and because it’s tied to issues, seems to have some kind of an effect. Then if we elect somebody they’re eternally grateful. Then we go and we are able to get a hearing.

While a token amount, Jerome Grossman (on behalf of C.L.W.) did donate to Lugar’s campaign in the 1999/2000 election cycle.

I do not know how much money Lugar has received from C.L.W. over the years, but as he has been in the U.S. Senate since 1976, it could be a considerable amount. How much influence did this money buy?

Why would a socialist like Jerome Grossman ever fund a Republican Senator – what would he hope to gain for his cause?

Grossman penned an article for the opinion page of the Atlantic Community.org, January 22, 2010 in which he called for Republicans to be brought to the nuclear disarmament cause – by invoking the farcical line that giving up U.S. nuclear superiority would strengthen “U.S. hegemony”.

A world without nuclear weapons would do much in terms of security, but more so, it would enhance and protect the superpower status of the United States. Giving up nuclear weapons and accepting US hegemony may be the price humanity must pay to avert the threat of total annihilation.

President Barack Obama has called for a major change in world policy on nuclear weapons, leading to eventual elimination. His initiative is supported by a powerful group of conservative and military allies led by former Republican Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and George Schultz and Democrats former Secretary of Defense William Perry and Sam Nunn, longtime Chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

These leaders recognize that nuclear weapons are the most inhumane and dangerous ever conceived, that kill and maim without discrimination, the only weapons ever invented that could destroy all life on planet Earth. That must not happen. Disarmament is the only answer: If any country has nuclear weapons, others will want them. Then, some day they will be used by accident, mistake, or design – the ultimate catastrophe.

These conservative leaders agree with the Democrats in the US Senate. Both argue for dramatic reforms in the US and world nuclear policy. The problem is political, how to persuade the Republican Senators to adopt these reforms. It won’t happen unless Kissinger et al do some serious lobbying. Obama can not do it alone and GOP support is essential…

So to a man like Jerome Grossman, who has dedicated his life to leftist causes and U.S. disarmament, financing a key Republican like Dick Lugar would make perfect sense.

According to C.L.W.’s own website “notable achievements to which the Council-supported candidates who were elected have contributed” include:

• Ratifying the Chemical Weapons Convention and Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces, Conventional Forces in Europe, and Strategic Arms Reduction (START) treaty
• Establishing a U.S. nuclear testing moratorium in 1992
• Limiting the deployment of the MX missile and B-2 bomber
• Blocking deployment of National Missile Defense by the Clinton administration
• Eliminating funding for the nuclear “Bunker Buster” and “Reliable Replacement Warhead”

C.L.W. has clearly had influence. The organization has funded hundreds of pro-disarmament Democrats, including Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.

However Republican support would always be needed to get treaties ratified in the U.S. Senate.

There is no doubt that Dick Lugar has been Barack Obama’s chief Republican ally on this issue.

How deep are Dick Lugar’s ties to the Council for a Livable World? Would New START have been ratified without C.L.W. influence?

Given C.L.W.’s far left and even pro-Moscow  connections, should the GOP even consider running an ally of the anti – american far left, like “Dangerous Dick’ Lugar?

Kyrsten Sinema is widely known as leftist and a “progressive”. however there has been virtually no media scrutiny of Sinema’s documented ties to the Arizona Communist Party – the local affiliate of the pro China/pro Cuba Communist Party USA.

Before becoming an Arizona State Representative, Kyrsten Sinema was a signatory to an advertisement “May Day and Cinco de Mayo greetings” placed in the Communist Party paper People’s Weekly World May 4, 2002. Such ads were traditionally placed in the Communist Party paper every May Day, sponsored by local party clubs, members or supporters

Arizona’s progressive community extends May Day and Cinco de Mayo greetings to all our friends across the country. Co-signing the advertisement with Sinema were Communist Party USA members Joe Bernick, Jack Blawis, Lem Harris, Lorenzo Torrez, Anita Torrez, Carolyn Trowbridge, Steve Valencia, the Tucson and East Valley Clubs of the Communist Party and party fronts the Arizona Peace Council and the Salt of the Earth Labor College.

This support for the communist cause was not not a “one off’ or an aberration. In 2003 Sinema again put her name to the Arizona Communist Party’s May Day greetings page.

Shortly after her first election, as an Arizona state representative in 2004, Kyrsten Sinema and former State Representative Steve formed Arizona Together, a statewide coalition to defeat Arizona’s same-sex marriage ban.

Why Arizona? How come voters in more liberal states have voted for similar hateful laws while conservative Arizona voted no?
If you were to believe the pundits in the corporate-owned press, our rejection of Prop. 107 was due to the western libertarian traditions, the spirit of Barry Goldwater — you know them, those right-wing Republicans who are against government interference in our personal business and our bedroom…
So how did we do it? The answer is: educating, organizing and mobilizing.

As soon as proponents started circulating petitions to put 107 on the ballot, opponents brought out their own clipboards, signing up thousands of volunteers. Arizona Together emerged as the campaign committee, chaired by progressive state Rep. Kyrsten Sinema.

Sinema, was a founder of the Arizona State House Progressive Caucus in 2008.

If Kyrsten Sinema makes it to Congress, she will almost certainly join two other Arizona reps Raul Grijalva and Ed Pastor in the far left Congressional Progressive Caucus. Both Grijalva and Pastor also have ties to the the Arizona Communist Party.

How does a conservative state like Arizona keep on electing Communist aligned public officials?

The answer is a very strong local Communist Party, built originally on the mining industry, and sustained in recent years through work on the illegal immigration issue – a very major part of Communist party USA long term strategy.

Working hand in glove with the Arizona Democratic Party, and lacking any realistic media scrutiny, the Arizona comrades have become a major player in Arizona electoral politics.

Sara Bennett, an attorney for convicted communist terrorist Judith Clark, is optimistic that her client will benefit from a New York Times Magazine article advocating her release from prison. “Did I think they did a good job for my client? Yes I do,” she said in a telephone interview. She said she is hoping for a meeting with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to ask for clemency for Clark.

A member of the Weather Underground and its May 19 Communist Organization spin-off, Clark was involved in a terrorist assault that left Nyack, New York Police Sgt. Edward O’Grady, Patrolman Waverly Brown and Brinks guard Peter Paige dead. A website, memorial and scholarship have been created in their honor.

The Times story, “Judith Clark’s Radical Transformation,” was written by Tom Robbins, a former Village Voice writer now at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism who visited Clark in prison and apparently became smitten with her. Clark, he writes, “is a model for what’s possible in prison.”

Attorney Bennett insisted that Clark has shown “genuine remorse,” a theme of the New York Times Magazine story, which also emphasizes her attendance at Jewish services in prison.

Incredibly, the Times story confirms that Clark earned educational degrees in prison, courtesy of “tuition aid” provided by the taxpayers. These degrees are also said to be proof of her turnaround behind bars.

Today, Clark claims to be a “writer and poet” who is “working for personal and social transformation of herself and others.” The Times piece was the cover story in the magazine and showed the convicted killer to be a gray-haired old lady who wants to be free from prison to be with her daughter.

But former FBI informant Larry Grathwohl, who infiltrated the Weather Underground and knew Clark, is among those urging strong opposition to her release.

“Here’s another 60s and 70s terrorist who has found God and has changed her life,” he says sarcastically. “The New York Times article contains very little in the way of repentance and only lightly touches on the families and children of the officers killed that day. Mostly it’s a story about her and the path she chose that resulted in the deaths of two police officers and a Brinks guard.”

The assault, carried out under the name of the Revolutionary Armed Task Force, included members of the Black Liberation Army (BLA) and occurred during a Brinks truck robbery of $1.6 million on October 20, 1981. For her role, Clark was sentenced to three consecutive terms of 25 years to life, totaling 75 years in prison, for three murder convictions. She is currently in state custody at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility.  More >>

Cuban-born, Venezuelan-raised actress Maria Conchita Alonso hasn't held back with former costar Sean Penn -- publicly sparring with the outspoken star for his political views.

In 2010, the 54-year-old actress wrote an open letter bashing Penn (with whom she costarred in the 1988 film Colors) for his support of socialist Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. (Penn, 51, praised Chavez for his help in Haiti during an episode of Real Time with Bill Maher. He also met privately with Chavez in Venezuela in 2007.)

On Sunday, the former costars had a screaming match at LAX Airport. She later revealed in a radio interview to WMAL, "I said, 'You are a communist, Sean Penn.' He said, 'You are a pig!' So I said, 'And you are a communist a**hole! Is it great to live the way you do as a communist?

Alonso admitted to WMAL she wanted to apologize "for calling Sean Penn an a**hole. He is an intelligent man."
"But if someone calls me a pig, I am not going to turn the other cheek," she said. "But I don't regret calling him a communist.

Susan Sarandon: La Atea y la Terrorista

 No habra un alma bondadosa en Hollywood que le explique a la Sra. que esos pellejos no van con ese escote

Susan Sarandon, buena sin exageraciones como actriz (ni la chancleta de Meryl Strep), de cara bonita durante su era de joven modelo (cuerpo parecido al de Eduardo Gómez, de Aquí no hay quien viva, pero con tetas); filocomunista para la que no existe una causa
cercana a todo lo que signifique tiranía de izquierda por la que no se desviva
(caso de defensa absoluta de los cuatro terroristas de los Castro aún presos y
de exigencias para que se le permita el retorno a La Habana al que ex
carcelaron); del lado de unos pobres que nadie sabe cuánto de
“necesitados” son los que los manejan por la izquierda (Ocupa Wall
Street), con quienes ha pernoctado en su “headquarters” como
“una más” a pesar de su dinero, recién acaba de ser puesta en su
lugar (pensé que no se produciría), por dos ligas antidifamatorias: la católica
y la judía.

¿Resultará para que la actriz “liberal” se retracte de lo dicho? ¿Leerá o escuchará alguien
“lo siento mucho, siento respeto por el Papa y lo que dije…” en
actitud imploratoria por la ex de Tim Robbins para aplacar la ira provocada
porque llamó nazi al Sumo Pontífice? No lo creo, este elemento vicioso,
decadente, amargado, insatisfecho de casi todo lo terrenal disfrutable  por efectos de la envidia y las bajas
pasiones, no acostumbran a darle “por la vena del gusto” a quienes
odian.

¿Cuántos liberales, progresistas, socialistas, filocomunistas…piensan como Susan Sarandon? Al modo mío de ver las cosas, muchísimos; por ejemplo, Hollywood es un corral de
liberales con la Academia incluida. En la mal llamada Meca del Cine (debería de
ser Europa, aunque no exenta de liberalismo) quedan pocos exponentes del
necesario conservadurismo, digamos como James Wood, que defiendan las ideas contribuyentes a mantener a Estados Unidos fuerte “en cuerpo y alma”, tal vez por
eso este magnífico actor no logra trabajar con la frecuencia de otros paquetes
que juegan al defensor del negro y del proletariado; que votan, contribuyen y
cabildean demócrata porque saben que con este partido en control (la media
sobre todo), es que pueden lograr la patente de corso que les ampare sin
sobresaltos sus actos corruptos, inmorales y decadentes que tienen al país (y
arrastran al mundo) al borde del abismo.

La Sarandon es, sobre todas las cosas, un casi vejestorio que busca llamar la atención, que pretende protagonizar, porque ya hizo estragos el tiempo sobre ella como para mantenerse
activa en roles de interés para una industria que, como Clinton y Obama en lo político,
significa veneno que no entra por la boca, sino por los ojos y por los oídos y
a ella le falta belleza para ser admirada físicamente; además de juicio, moral
y decencia para convencer de cualquier otra forma.

Lo que hace para defender a la tiranía castrista, lo que cree que le van a considerar como “un acto de valor” al llamar nazi al Papa, o por su “consecuente actitud
comprometida” al acompañar a la legión de la izquierda mundial que
esconden su objetivo verdadero de llamado a cambiar el sistema capitalista con
la impresión de que se confundieron con una petición de trabajo en una oficina
del Labor americano o en otra de Workforce, por lo menos aquí, es el reflejo de
la peor generación deamericanos “in”, nacida en las entrañas de
aquel movimiento que comenzó con una flor, protestando contra la guerra de
Viet-Nam, favorable al Black Power y al Black Panthers y con la intención de
imponer el sexo libre, el LSD…desde Monterey 67 y 68 con Grace Slick o
Santana, continuó en Woodstock y se mantiene como “ocupas” peligrosos
de la Casa Blanca, el Senado estadounidense y el circuito de la media más el
gremio artístico.

Carlos el Chacal, el  asesino terrorista de origen venezolano héroe de Hugo Chávez, dijo hace poco en una entrevista que: “si salgo en libertad, iré a la tumba de Bolívar a
rezar…” ¿Por quienes? ¿Acaso por el rosario de infelices civiles muertos
por la metralla de sus artefactos detonados en cualquier lugar, mientras más
gente indefensa mejor? Por favor…si algo tiene de malo la democracia es no
establecer un código de justicia universal que obligue a que a gente como este
animal se le ejecuta en el lugar que se le capture si no se le ajustició en la
acción; después, que critiquen, que la humanidad será mejor y más segura para
todos sin estas hienas sueltas.

Con este tipo deben tener cuidado los venezolanos, porque pudiera reaparecer como el “superhéroe” de historietas sustituto de los tradicionales; a fin de cuentas, ya el simio
“cantó el Itá” contra la nociva influencia del comic americano, lo
demás es habilitar el canal, la imprenta y a disfrutar, lo malo es que deberá
recrear las escenas de los atentados y sabotajes como son: con niños, mujeres,
ancianos…destrozados por las bombas.

Hasta que no se tome conciencia del daño real que le hacen a la libertad, a la democracia y a la vida humana gente como el Chacal, como la Sarandon, como los Castro, como Danny
Glover, como Sean Penn, como Silvio Rodríguez…hasta que no se logre un
dictamen unánime de castigo basado en la necesidad de proteger los intereses
del hombre con 100 años de cárcel sin derecho a condicionales, en unos casos, o
a muerte por ahorcamiento en otros, la gente como el asesino venezolano y la
activista americana continuarán bandeándose como quieran, llevando toda la
carga de daño material y espiritual que asola a más de un par de países.

José Martí no sirvió para ñángara. El pregón de Carlos Baliño: Martí me dijo que «todo hay que hacerlo después de la independencia» (La Voz Obrera, agosto 5 de 1906) no se volvió estribillo comunista ni siquiera con la glosa* de Julio Antonio Mella: que Baliño le dijo que Martí le había dicho: «La revolución no es la que vamos a iniciar en las maniguas, sino la que vamos a desarrollar en la república» (América Libre, abril de 1927). Lo rojo apareció de verdad cuando Baliño se apeó (agosto 11, 1922) con que la Agrupación Socialista de La Habana debía afiliarse a «la III Internacional que radica en Moscú». Unos pocos asintieron y terminarían formando (marzo 18, 1923) la Agrupación Comunista de La Habana: Baliño, José Miguel Pérez (El Isleño), Alejandro Barreiro, José Peña Vilaboa, José Rego López y Joaquín Valdés (Revolución, agosto 16 de 1963). Al año siguiente ingresó su mejor activo: Mella.

La Internacional Comunista (Comintern) se había constituido en congreso (Moscú, 1919) sin un solo delegado latinoamericano. Lenin no había escrito —ni escribiría jamás— una sola línea sobre Latinoamérica, pero al II Congreso (Petrogrado-Moscú, 1920) fueron el hindú Manabendra Nath Roy y su esposa Evelyn Trent, quienes se habían avecindado en México hacia julio de 1917 y armado por allá un tinglado comunista. Roy largó la tesis del paso directo del subdesarrollo al socialismo y Lenin se embulló tanto que para el congreso siguiente (Moscú, 1921) fueron invitados hasta cubanos. Ninguno asistió. En este y el próximo congreso (Petrogrado-Moscú, 1922), el portavoz de América Latina distó mucho de ser genuinio: el comunista suizo Edwar Woog posó como Alfred Stirner, líder del Partido Comunista Mexicano (PCM).

Para el V Congreso (Moscú, 1924), la «Nota adicional al Manifiesto del Comintern para los partidos comunistas de los países latinoamericanos» precisaba que el PCM se encargaría de Centroamérica, las Antillas, Panamá y Venezuela (Chile en los Archivos Soviéticos 1922 – 1991, Santiago de Chile: Lom Ediciones, 2005, Tomo I, páginas 125s). La mayor de las Antillas tenía unos 80 comunistas por cuenta propia, que formaban grupúsculos en La Habana, Regla y Guanabacoa, San Antonio de los Baños y Manzanillo. Al efecto de montar un partido como Dios manda, el Comintern mandó al cuadro mexicano Enrique Flores Magón, quien juntó a Mella, Baliño y Barreiro (Habana), Venancio Rodríguez (Guanabacoa), Miguel Valdés y Emilio Rodríguez (San Antonio de los Baños) con los camaradas hebreos Yoshka Grinberg y Yunger Semchovich. Estos últimos usaron a un tal Vasserman como traductor, porque aún no hablaban español con fluidez. Así tuvo lugar el I Congreso Nacional de Agrupaciones Comunistas de la Isla de Cuba (agosto 16-17, 1925). Siendo ya Fabio Grobart, Semchovich escribió (XV años de lucha, La Habana: Ediciones Sociales, 1940, página 3): ¡Qué pequeño y aparentemente insignificante era aquel congreso!

Cliff Kincaid interviews Communist Party USA Political Action Commission chair Joelle Fishman at this week’s Take Back the American Dream Conference in Washington DC.
Joelle Fishman is the daughter-in-law of Soviet spy Victor Perlo. Her role within the Communist Party involves coordinating efforts to elect “progressive” Democrats to state and national office and seeing that the Democrats adopt Communist Party inspired policies. Blood on the Streets? US Communists Prepare for Conflict, “Hellraising”

Violence and intimidation are coming to the streets of America – if the Communist Party USA gets its way.

Emboldened by their “friend” Barack Obama’s Labor Day speech in Detroit, the communists and their labor and “social movement” allies are preparing to confront the “Tea Party” and the GOP in the streets of America in an attempt to intimidate their way back into power in 2012.
The plan is simple. Obama and the Democrats will create large Federally funded jobs programs, which will be controlled by the unions and the left. This will create large armies of desperate and easily manipulated people who will owe their living to the “great helmsman”.
The left will then use these people to intimidate anyone who stands in their way. Though Obama will have funded these armies, he will exploit their aggressive  demands for more handouts as merely an expression of the “popular will”. He will then give the “people” (ie the left) what they want – more socialism.
This was the strategy the communists employed in the 1930s under Roosevelt to move the US way to the left. The communists set up large armies of unemployed to march on Washington. FDR responded by setting up huge Federal public  work schemes, which the communists then took over and used to build still more pressure for socialism.
The left used the same strategy in the ’60s under president Johnson’s “great society’, the second ever greatest  increase in Federal power.
Now the communists plan a third and (they hope)  final mass expansion of Federal power under second term Obama.

Those who have not had a chance to listen to President Obama’s Labor Day speech in Detroit yesterday should make it a priority to do so. It is a preview of Thursday night’s speech before a joint session of Congress on the jobs crisis.
In both tone and content this was a fighting speech.
President Obama is expected to outline a program for job creation through rebuilding the country’s crumbling infrastructure.
If this type of concrete initiative aimed at creating jobs for those who are really suffering is realized, it has the potential to create the basis for united grassroots movements to develop.
A new upsurge of struggle involving millions of working- and middle-class folks potentially could develop that could not only make their lives better but take the political initiative away from the right.
It’s still the economy, and the president knows it.
A multiracial coalition of organized labor and civil rights groups along with millions of working families who are not in unions can be mobilized and activated in the streets, legislative halls and at the voting booth into a powerful force capable of countering the racism of the Republican, tea party Libertarian axis
In Detroit, the president made points that he has not emphasized since the campaign. He said pointedly, “Our economy’s stronger when workers are getting paid good wages and good benefits.”
He continued. “Our economy is stronger when we’ve got broad based growth and broad based prosperity.”
Speaking to the need for a jobs program, Obama referred to the two parties working together last year. But, he added, if they (Republicans) don’t want to work together, “we’re not going to wait for them. “
In anticipation of the coming struggle, he challenged the Republicans to “prove the they will fight for tax breaks for the middle class as hard as you fight for tax breaks for the wealthy”.
He spoke in support of the unionized workers in Wisconsin and Ohio. He said, “as long as I’m in the White House, I’m going to stand up for collective bargaining.”
He spoke out against “right to work” laws, which are being pushed by the right wing in a number of states.
Trying to find compromise with the extreme right is like trying to reason with the politically irrational. So far those efforts by the president have resulted in concessions.
This struggle is not an academic exercise. It’s a power struggle around some basic class and democratic questions.
The stakes are high. Issues like taxing the rich, single-payer health care, saving public education, Social Security, Medicare and civil rights and saving the environment are life or death issues, especially for millions of working people.
This is a struggle that cannot be won without involving masses in struggle. The president alone cannot win the fight.
The Republicans will raise hell in the Congress and on the campaign trail about the possibility of spending tax money to meet the infrastructure and jobs crisis.
This time the progressive forces will not be caught napping: besides, the left invented hell raising.
The president cannot win this battle alone, just like FDR and other more liberal presidents couldn’t. That was one of the themes of Obama’s Detroit speech. He called on organized labor and the people to help win this battle.
Everyone needs to hear the speech he made on Monday and gather families and friends to hear his speech Thursday night.
As Sam Webb and others have written recently, I think a progressive political storm is building in the country against the right.
Obama’s speech in Detroit reflected that. Let’s hope Thursday takes this fighting spirit even further.

The communists rightly see the next fourteen months as the most decisive in US history.
If the “Tea Party” and the Republicans do well, the US will have a fighting chance at survival.
If  Obama and the communists/Dems win, the socialist steamroller will be virtually impossible to stop.
the communists are going to do everything possible to keep their man in the White House. If that takes a little blood on the streets – so be it.

US Communist Party Amps up Rhetoric: “Prepare for War”

The Communist Party USA is amping up its rhetoric as it prepares to confront the “Tea Party” and the GOP in the coming months.

Ohio Communist Party leader Rick Nagin sets the tone in today’s Peoples World:

The best thing that can be said about the distasteful debt ceiling deal is that it is behind us and hopefully the real challenges and issues facing the American people can now be frankly addressed.
The AFL-CIO leadership, which met with President Obama the day after the agreement was reached, correctly said the deal ignores and undermines the nation’s ability to confront the real problem – America’s job crisis. They blasted it as “a product of extortion by House Republicans,” one that is “even more right-wing than the average Republican.”
The labor leadership recognized that, given the balance of forces in Congress, Obama had no choice but to negotiate. Not to do so would have been politically disastrous, but doing so meant that Republican demands to slash essential programs and weaken Social Security and Medicare were on the table.
While threatening to eliminate nearly 2 million jobs in 2012 (according to the Economic Policy Institute), the deal spared the basic entitlements for the time being. But the battle over these, as well as Democratic demands to increase revenues through taxes on the wealthy and the corporations, will be shifted to November when the fight will resume in the deficit super-committee.
This gives a few months for the president and his allies to rally people and expose the Republican aims, which polls show are highly unpopular. During the negotiations, Obama had no choice but to be diplomatic. The Republicans took the hits for throwing tantrums and walking out while Obama gained in stature and respect.
But now that the unsavory deal is done, the time for diplomacy is over and the time has come to take off the gloves and tell the truth. The Republicans are no ordinary opposition party with whom the Democrats can have amicable and respectful differences. They are racist, anti-labor, anti-democratic extremists, beholden to fascist-minded billionaires. They are hell-bent on wrecking the economic security of working people and turning the government into an open tool for corporate plunder.
Last November, working people suffered a major setback. The right wing was able to play on mass anger and frustration over the slow recovery and blame the Democrats for the crisis caused and sustained by Republican policies. In Ohio, Wisconsin and other states the Democratic base, pounded by right-wing media, did not turn out in sufficient numbers to overcome the frenzied, corporate-funded Republican campaign of bigotry and Big Lies.
The result was a Republican takeover in these states as well as in the U.S. House of Representatives, and an immediate, unprecedented, far-flung attack on civil, democratic and trade union rights.
In Ohio, in just six months Gov. John Kasich outlawed collective bargaining for public employees, slashed funds for education, health care and local government services, enacted a voter suppression law, put key state assets up for sale, restricted reproductive freedom, expanded gun rights and opened state parks to reckless plunder by gas companies.
If the Republicans take over the White House in 2012, it will be Kasich on steroids for the entire country. As Vice President Joe Biden warned the AFL-CIO in March, every effort must be made to “keep the barbarians from the gate.”
It is urgent for President Obama, the Democrats, the labor movement and all progressive allies to rally the troops, expose the danger and prepare for war.

Communist Party rhetoric is not usually this extreme. The fact that they are throwing caution to the wind, tells us they understand the huge stakes in next year’s election cycle.
If the Communist/Dems win in 2012, America’s march towards socialism will be almost impossible to stop.
If the “Tea Party” wins (NOT the GOP),  Americans will have a fighting chance to save their country.
