US Sec of Defense Vs. Obama?

"Any Defense Sec Who Sends The Army Into Asia Or Africa Or Middle East Should Have His Head Examined!" didn't come from a lunatic socialist, but from Robert Gates Secretary of Defense on Bush and Obama's administrations. 

However, the US Army is already in the area to do whatever it's necessary to step down Gadhafi's regime. What Mr. Gates is talking about?
