A nearly life-size statue of a moose in Colorado has drawn amorous attention from a real-life bull moose in the area.
The statue was put up in the front yard of a home in Grand Lake, Colo., last Monday, and it has caught the eye of a young bull moose with only one thing on his mind, 9 News reports.
A neighbour told 9 News that the moose is "not too shy."
"There's two things he wants to do, and the other is eat," said the man, adding the statue has already acquired some noticeable scratch marks.
"The strange thing is, he's trying to mate with a statue, and they're both male."
The statue and its admirer have become a new tourist attraction in town, with tour buses driving past on their route and passing motorists taking the time to check on him, 9 News reports.
