Major flooding begins as Sandy nears coast [Photos]
Updated 1:27 p.m. ET Sandy strengthened overnight off the mid-Atlantic coast and was expected to bring a "life-threatening storm surge." The center of the storm was forecast to make landfall Monday night - likely in central or southern New Jersey. Here, a look at what you're seeing.
