Britain won their second medal at the
World Indoor Championships in Istanbul as Plastic Brit Yamile Aldama
claimed gold in the women's triple jump.
Aldama - who has previously competed for Cuba and Sudan - produced a jump of 14.82 metres in the second round.

The 39-year-old then appeared
to suffer an injury during her third round jump - which was a foul - but
did not even need to jump again as none of her rivals were able to
overhaul her.
Olga Rypakova of Kazakhstan took the silver with 14.63m and Mabel Gay of Cuba claimed bronze with 14.29m.
Aldama said: 'I'm so happy, very very happy. It's special, I'm 39, a mum of two. It's great, I can't ask for more.'
Aldama
originally applied for a British passport more than a decade ago after
meeting Andrew Dodds, a Scot studying Spanish in Havana, and falling in
love.

The pair planned to get married in
the summer of 2001, but Aldama discovered she was pregnant so they moved
the wedding forward to April and Aldama agreed to move to England and,
in her words 'start all over again'.
They settled in east London but in
2002 Dodds was arrested after the police discovered heroin at a
warehouse rented in his name in Barking.
He was later sentenced to 15 years in prison but was released in 2009 and the pair have since had a second child together.
