Debt disaster not resolved

As the left and right battle over the debt, Alternet's Joshua Holland doesn't see an easy resolution coming anytime soon. Dems are over a barrel as they try to cling onto Medicare, and Republican attempts to balance the budgets are coming up all wrong. Everyone seems to agree that defaulting on the government debt would be catastrophic, says Holland, as the clock continues to tick.
