China, the world's largest exporter, saw a trade deficit of US$7.3 billion in February this year, after recording a trade surplus of US$6.45 billion in January, due partly to rising prices of crude oil and other commodities, according to statistics released by the General Administration of Customs on Thursday.
The previous trade deficit took place in March 2010 when the figure stood at US$7.2 billion. The February trade deficit was also the highest monthly level in seven years.
