Kathleen Harriman Mortimer, a Scion of Wealth, Dies at 93

Kathleen Harriman Mortimer in 1946 with one of two cavalry horses that Stalin gave to her and her father after World War II.

Her grandfather ran a railroad, and her father was an ambassador, a governor and a cabinet secretary. She married the grandson of an oil baron at her family’s 25,000-acre estate.
