Communist Party is reportedly telling its members not to shun the self-employed
The Communist Party of Cuba is reportedly circulating an internal document that directs its members not to obstruct the opening of commerce to self-employed entrepreneurs, the Miami-based e-zine Progreso Weekly says.
The document deals with "self-employment, that irreversible move toward the implementation of the private sector," writes Progreso
Weekly contributor Aurelio Pedroso, calling it "a turn of the screw, not to tighten [...] but to expedite a movement that is just beginning."
