El caso del Dr. Néstor García Iturbe

CIRC Note: Cuba trains its civilian intelligence officers at the Superior Institute of Intelligence (ISI). Following a successful intelligence tour in the US, senior Directorate of Intelligence (DI) officer Nestor Garcia Iturbe took the reins of the ISI in approximately 1995. Earlier, Colonel Iturbe may have headed the DI Center within the Cuban Mission to the United Nations (CMUN) from the 1980s until the early 1990s. His CMUN posting was not his first time in America; Colonel Iturbe lived in the US prior to the Cuban Revolution.
