Khmer Rouge leaders guilty, face life imprisonment

By Euan McKirdy
(CNN) -- Two former top leaders in Cambodia's notorious Khmer Rouge, which ruled the Southeast Asian country between 1975 and 1979, were found guilty of crimes against humanity by a specially-convened Cambodian court Thursday.
Before the verdict, only one person had been brought to justice over one of the 20th century's great atrocities.
Nuon Chea, the former Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of Kampuchea, and Khieu Samphan, the one-time President of Democratic Kampuchea were sentenced Thursday. Both received life sentences.
Nuon Chea [r], 88, known as "Brother Number Two," and Khieu Samphan [l], 83, known as "Brother Number Four," were expressionless as the verdict was read.
They were found guilty of the following: Crimes against humanity, of extermination, murder, political persecution, and other inhumane acts comprising forced transfer, forced disappearances and attacks against human dignity committed within the territory of Cambodia between 17 April 1975 and December 1977.
"The chamber finds that as a consequence of the crimes of which the accused have been convicted, the civil parties and a very large number of additional victims have suffered immeasurable harm, including physical suffering, economic loss, loss of dignity, psychological trauma, and grief arising from the loss of family members and close relations," a judge said in the ruling.
The pair were taken into custody, where they have been held since their arrest in 2007. The defendants can appeal the judgment.
The charges were heard in Phnom Penh in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) -- a special United Nations-backed tribunal that was formed in 2006 to prosecute senior Khmer Rouge leaders and other regime figures responsible for especially heinous acts.
A bloody regime
The Khmer Rouge regime is believed responsible for deaths of at least 1.7 million people between 1975 and 1979.
The two men were senior leaders in the Khmer Rouge regime, which ruled Cambodia between 1975 and 1979. During that time at least 1.7 million people -- about a quarter of the Cambodian population -- are believed to have died from forced labor, starvation and execution, as the movement ruthlessly executed its radical social engineering policies aimed at creating a purely agrarian society.
The pair were tried in a "hybrid" tribunal -- officially "an ad hoc Cambodian court with international participation" -- uses both Cambodian and international judges and staff employed by the U.N. in order to ensure the trials are conducted to international standards and to mitigate against the weakness of the Cambodian legal system.
Until today's conclusion, the ECCC has delivered only one verdict in its eight years of existence.
In the ECCC's Case 001, Kaing Guek Eav, commonly known by his alias, Duch, was sentenced to life imprisonment following his 2010 convictions for war crimes, crimes against humanity, murder and torture. He was the commandant of the notorious Tuol Sleng S-21 prison in Phnom Penh, where more than 14,000 people died.
The verdicts on Thursday in the case known as 002/01 was the first time that senior leaders of the regime have faced justice.

A communist is the new Mayor of New York: Ripping Off the “Progressive” Mask

NewZeal
By: Cliff Kincaid
rippingoffAccuracy in Media
In a column on the “remarkable lives” of some people who passed away in 2013, Republican strategist Karl Rove writes that British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, in concert with Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, and Pope John Paul II, “transformed the world.” He’s right that Reagan, Bush, Thatcher and the Pope did transform the world. In saying that Thatcher stood up to Soviet communism, however, he neglected to mention that the Soviet Communists fought back, attempting to assassinate Pope John Paul II. The Soviets lied about their involvement in this plot.
Referring to Nelson Mandela, Rove says he “spent 26 years in prison before emerging to end apartheid and serve as the first president of a multiracial South African democracy.” However, Mandela’s debt to Soviet communism, which armed his movement, went unmentioned in Rove’s Wall Street Journal column. Rove also failed to note that the communists who run South Africa today counted Mandela as one of their own. The “democratic” South Africa of today is effectively a one-party state, and the white minority is under siege and facing genocide.
Rove writes that Mandela went “on trial for his life,” neglecting to mention that he was convicted of terrorism and could have been hanged for his crimes. Instead, Mandela received a prison sentence. The white government was actually quite lenient and offered to release him if he would renounce violence and terrorism. He never did. His terrorism cost innocent lives.
Karl Rove should know better, and probably does. He apparently has his own reasons for shading the truth. Those reasons include appearing to be “moderate” in one’s public comments and accepting certain myths about public figures. That means, in Mandela’s case, accepting his false claim that he never joined the Communist Party of South Africa.
It is a sad fact that telling a lie these days has become more convenient than telling the truth. This is a terrible commentary on those with access to our major media.
Consider the coverage of the inauguration of Bill de Blasio as New York City’s mayor. The term “progressive” is used in most accounts to describe him and his backers. De Blasio accepts that term. Yet, by any objective measure, he is a dedicated Marxist, and has been for most of his life. For example, he never disavowed his support for the communist Sandinistas in Nicaragua. He claims to have honeymooned in communist Cuba, when such a trip was illegal. His wife was a member of a Marxist collective.
As if to demonstrate that his views haven’t changed, one of de Blasio’s inauguration speakers was the entertainer Harry Belafonte, who performed at a “concert for peace” in communist East Germany in 1983. He claims he did not join the Communist Party USA, but acknowledges in his book, My Song: A Memoir, that he used to attend lectures in 1947 at the Jefferson School in New York City. He says the Jefferson School “openly billed itself as an institute of Marxist thought affiliated with the American Communist party.” He says he heard such speakers as I.F. Stone, the so-called “independent journalist” later unmasked as a Soviet intelligence agent.
At the time he attended lectures at the Jefferson School, Russia “seemed to be leading the way” internationally in achieving a “classless society,” Belafonte writes in his book.
Belafonte also endorsed and raised money for Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren when she was running for that office. The Massachusetts GOP tried to make that an issue, but the media paid no attention.
When it comes to children, the truth has to be concealed as well. Indeed, this target audience has to be “educated” intensively to become young recruits to the “progressive” movement.
Consider that a firm called Bluewater Productions has released a new “tribute comic book biography” on Nelson Mandela, insisting on page nine that Mandela was “never a communist himself” but only worked with the communists. The fact is that the South African Communist Party and the African National Congress have both acknowledged his membership on the SACP’s central committee. Mandela lied about it all his life.
Bluewater publisher Darren G. Davis calls the comic book “a great tool for kids to read about him in a different medium.” He adds that, “Our biography comic books are now taught in schools and libraries for students and reluctant readers.”
I asked Davis why the comic book lies about Mandela’s membership in the Communist Party. He told me, “I will check with the writer on that and get back to you on it.” That was over two weeks ago. Clearly, they have no justification for this striking omission.
It would seem to be important for our young people to understand the role that communism played, and continues to play, in national and world events. After all, this philosophy killed more than 100 million people, made millions more economically destitute, and continues to deny freedom to more than one billion people worldwide.
If used in schools and libraries, this comic book will deceive “students and reluctant readers” about how communism has come to power in South Africa. What purpose is served by that? It will enable the same forces to make even more gains around the world, including in the United States, by operating as “progressives.”
Part of Rove’s column was devoted to remembering two conservative businessmen, Bob Perry and Harold Simmons, who died in 2013 and were “passionate about their state and country and were generous donors to conservative candidates and causes, including American Crossroads.”
Rove is referring to his own political campaign organization, which refused to call President Obama a Marxist when buying millions of dollars of advertising against him during the 2012 presidential campaign. As a result, Obama and the George Soros-funded “progressives” won.
Rove says about Perry and Simmons, “These two self-made men never forgot that from those to whom much is given, much is required.” But the $300 million that went to Rove in 2012 was mostly wasted.
What the country desperately needs are donors willing to underwrite the organizations that are not afraid to tell the truth about the dangers we face. Being polite and politically correct when the survival of our nation’s democratic institutions and traditional values are at stake is nothing less than national suicide.
The “progressives” have to be exposed as the hard-core Marxists they are.

Convinced by the Communists? Some theorize Soviets or Castro inspired Oswald to kill JFK

AFP / Getty Images
In 1961, the U.S. attacked newly socialist Cuba in the unsuccessful Bay of Pigs Invasion.
In 1962, Soviet Union leader Nikita Khrushchev allied his country with Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro and constructed missiles on Cuban soil pointing at America — threatening to fire until the U.S. promised never to invade again.
In 1963, the president of the United States was assassinated.
Coincidence?
“When Castro chose an alliance with the Soviet Union, it was more than our intelligence service could stand … it’s 90 miles off our shores,” said Bryan Ghent, an expert in the assassination of John F. Kennedy at Winthrop University.
So after JFK was shot, some couldn’t help but make a connection.
“Right wing activists very shortly after the assassination started blaming communism and Castro,” said John McAdams, the author of  “JFK Assassination Logic: How to Think about Claims of Conspiracy.”
Both Castro and Krushchev provide a path into what Ghent calls the “wonderful rabbit hole” of speculating and circular thinking around who killed Kennedy.

The planned destruction of America

By Doug Hagmann
unifiedserenity.wordpress.com
The future of our Constitutional Republic is at stake and many Americans are angry. At least those who have been awakened to the world where they are pawns in a rigged game, and those who are not lining their pockets at the federal trough, are angry.
They are also trying to make sense of where we are today and how we got here. Even some of the “hope and change” supporters are angry at the continuity of agenda despite the change in American leadership. Then there are those who slumber in a world of denial, self-delusion and deception. Two distinctly different people in two remarkably different worlds, yet denizens of the same planet.
One world is where the television and radio pundits sanctimoniously scold us into believing that all is normal, and everything we see taking place today is merely the result of a growing acrimonious relationship between two political parties. They sit behind the microphones, in front of the TV cameras, write the newsprint, and dominate the internet with their matrix of mendacity. They are well-paid for keeping the public in the dark, and by confining public discourse to the limitations of mere political theater. Regardless of their political bent, they bully and mock those who disagree, and sneer at those who dare threaten the illusion of normalcy.

Obama’s panic button still not working

By Judi McLeod
jacksanfernandes.com
Obama is running into not the chaos he counted on, but orderly, steadfast human resistance
When Marxists are rummaging in the bottom of their bag of tricks to drive the masses to panic, it’s only commonsense that you do the exact opposite.
It must be frustrating for a president waiting five long years for folk to panic when they are clearly standing their ground on not giving him his way.
It’s a frustration that’s so easy to read in consideration of yesterday’s Immigration Rally held at the closed National Mall, where lawmakers arrived in golf carts to hear a Nancy Pelosi speech. Halloween costumes were the only thing missing.
Right now the government shutdown/slimdown is a public exercise in pulling-the-wings-off-flies,  with a look-how-much-pain-I-can-so-easily-inflict-upon-the-plebes kind of showcasing.  But the only one really panicking is Obama witnessed in the outrageous lies dropped in yesterday’s presser.

Communists in US Congress? Just count ‘em

NEW YORK – New Zealander Trevor Loudon has just published an encyclopedic new 689-page volume, “The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress,” to accompany his 668-page 2011 book, “Barack Obama and the Enemies Within.”
In both volumes, Loudon has proved himself to be among the foremost experts in the world investigating and reporting the penetration of communists, socialists and the current group of “progressives” affiliated with Democratic Party politics who portray themselves as liberals.
In his 2011 book, Loudon presented documented evidence that Barack Obama’s rise in politics was not an accident, but a conscious, decade-long effort by the radical left to promote a candidate with African roots. Obama, he said, was packaged as an engaging and seemingly harmless Trojan Horse radical, sent to Chicago to refine his skills running for office as a Democratic Party politician.
It is impossible to read “Barack Obama and the Enemies Within” without being convinced that Obama’s education in communist ideology stretches from the extracurricular education he received from Communist Party mentor Frank Marshall Davis in Honolulu to his recruitment as a New Party candidate in Chicago, with strong ties to the Democratic Socialists of America.
Loudon continues naming names in his current volume, “The Enemies Within,” which documents how extensively communists, socialists and progressives have penetrated the U.S. Congress, running on the Democratic Party ticket.
The goal of these radicals in Congress, Loudon demonstrates, is the same goal Obama announced when running for president in 2008, to transform the United States from the constitutional republic established by its Founding Fathers into a radical socialist state. The aim is to be achieved through passing extensive social welfare legislation designed to bankrupt a government adhering to concepts of private property and private enterprise.
In an insightful essay on the Democratic Socialists of America, Loudon emphasizes the impact on U.S. radicals of the late Italian Communist Party theoretician Antonio Gramsci, whose writings from prison declared that the “working class revolution” is a dead end, arguing instead that communism can best be achieved “by infiltrating civil society – political parties, churches, labor unions, universities, the media, community groups, etc., to turn them into revolutionary vehicles.”
Similarly, Loudon documents how the Communist Party of the USA itself has adopted a stealth plan to achieve revolutionary goals by decisions made in the 1970s to infiltrate and manipulate the Democratic Party. The plan is to form alliances with the radical elements in organized labor in conjunction with radicals in the African-American community and the feminist movement to establish a progressive coalition on the left that could dominate the national political agenda for decades to come.
His essay on the Institute for Policy Studies provides extensive evidence that the IPS, operating today with the distinction of being oldest – founded in 1963 – and most influential of the far left “think tanks” in Washington, D.C., “works closely with several U.S. Marxist groups, but is particularly close to the Democratic Socialists of America.”
The congressional profiles of current members of Congress provides extensive evidence of radical leftist ties in the backgrounds of top Democratic Party legislators, including Democratic Party Sens. Barbara Boxer, Dick Durbin, Tom Harkin, Barbara Mikulski, Elizabeth Warren, Ed Markey, Debbie Stabenow, Al Franken, Sherrod Brown, Ron Wyden, Jeff Merkley, Patty Murray and Tammy Baldwin.
In the House of Representatives, Loudon profiles the radical left background of Democratic Party Reps. Nancy Pelosi, Louis Gutierrez, John Conyers, Charles Rangel, Marcy Kaptur, Peter DeFazio, Sheila Jackson Lee, Jim McDermott and dozens more.
Loudon’s profiles of the radical lawmakers is extensively footnoted, complete with photos, news clips, website screen captures and quotations from published sources that leave no doubt as to the authenticity and accuracy of his allegations.
In documenting the success with which the radical left has captured the politically correct core of Democratic Party politics since the 1970s and the end of the Vietnam War, Loudon joins bestselling author Paul Kengor, who published in 2010 “Dupes: How America’s Adversaries Have Manipulated Conservatives for a Century,” followed in 2012 by “The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis, The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor.”
What authors Loudon and Kengor show is that communism in America did not die with the fall of the Berlin Wall. It is alive and well, with ties that run deep today with Barack Obama in the White House and the radical leftist Democrats serving in the halls of Congress.
Loudon will be in Washington, D.C., at the National Press Club Aug. 20 to participate in the all day conference “The Crisis in American Journalism and the Conservative Response,” hosted by the public policy group America’s Survival Inc.
Joining Loudon, who is listed on the program to speak about his book “The Enemies Within,” will be Kengor, presenting his new book, “All the Dupes Fit to Print: Journalists Who Have Served as Tools of Communist Propaganda.”

Marxist Union Aims to Punish GOP Over “Immigration” Issue

The Blaze/
Eliseo Medina, foreground
Eliseo Medina, foreground

The Service Employees International Union is to mount a major campaign to punish Republicans opposed to the labor union’s militant ‘immigrants rights’ agenda.
Under the influence (if not complete control) of the US’s largest Marxist organization Democratic Socialists of America, SEIU has long abandoned its membership’s best interests in favor of DSA’s socialist dictates.
According to the Communist Party’s Peoples World, the “continued anti-immigrant push by the GOP” has prompted the SEIU to “plan an all-out campaign against GOP anti-immigrant legislation, and to remind Latinos, unionists, and other voters in 2014 and 2016 of the party’s intolerance, Secretary-Treasurer Eliseo Medina says”.
The campaign of door-knocking, demonstrations, leafleting, voter registration and more will target congressional districts of key lawmakers, he said. “You name it, we’ll do it.” .
DSAer Medina was responding soon after the Judiciary panel, along party lines, put a bill through the House to prevent implementation of DSA ally President  Barack Obama’s order telling federal agencies not to arrest and deport “DREAMers” – young people now in college or the military who came to the US as undocumented children.
The socialists are also incensed that  on June 18, the Judiciary Committee, again along party lines, approved the so-called “Safe Act,” the federal equivalent of Arizona’s SB1070. Both the Arizona law and the Safe Act let local law enforcement stop, detain and deport people who don’t “look” as if they’re legal. Medina called the Safe Act “ideological and divisive.”
As the House panel worked, “labor, lawmakers, and Latino organizations” called the GOP law an “open invitation to racism and racial profiling”.
“This extremist and radical legislation contradicts what Americans want to see from Congress,” namely “comprehensive reform with an eventual path to legalization and citizenship for the undocumented”, Medina told a rain-soaked crowd on the Capitol grounds as the panel – indoors – “shoved” the Safe Act through.
Led by immigration reform negotiator and long time DSA affiliate, Illinois Rep.  Luis Gutierrez, Judiciary Committee Democrats ducked out of the work session to support the undocumented people, Dreamers, and others gathered outside. “You cannot start by saying 11 million people are rapists, murderers, drug dealers, and gangbangers,” Gutierrez said of the GOP’s attitude.
“This is what they think of our community,” added Medina.
“We are listening and will respond accordingly. If they thought 2012 was bad” in terms of the tide of Latino votes against the GOP, “wait ’till 2014 and 2016. There are 50 million reasons that the adults in the Republican Party should step in and stop this” warned Medina.

How Obama Obstructs Justice in the Search for a Communist Terrorist

mostwantedBy: Cliff Kincaid
Accuracy in Media
If the FBI wants to find Joanne Chesimard, who has just been added to the “Most Wanted Terrorists List,” it could begin by wiretapping President Obama’s friends, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, and other members of the Weather Underground. The Weather Underground helped Chesimard—a convicted cop-killer—escape from a New Jersey prison in 1979 and flee to Cuba.
Chesimard, also known as Assata Shakur, was involved in the “execution style” murder of New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster. The attack on Foerster in a gun battle also took the life of Chesimard’s associate, Zayd Shakur. Ayers and Dohrn named one of their children after Zayd Shakur, who now goes under the name of “Zayd Dohrn,” and is a playwright.
The doubling of the reward from $1 million to $2 million for information leading to her capture and return to New Jersey was made on the 40th anniversary of Foerster’s brutal murder.
However, Chesimard is still today being protected by a support network of “progressive” activists, lawyers and the Cuban government.
Alluding to terrorist support networks for Chesimard in the U.S, Aaron Ford, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s office in Newark, New Jersey, said, “We would be naïve to think there’s not some communication between her and some of those people she used to run around with today.”
Chesimard was a member of the Black Liberation Army (BLA), a group that worked with the Weather Underground. The Black Liberation Army was an outgrowth of the Black Panthers, a black militant group that described police officers as “Pigs” and called for their deaths.
Her escape to Cuba was not surprising. Former FBI informant Larry Grathwohl points out that the Weather Underground was a virtual project of the Cuban intelligence service, the DGI. His book, Bringing Down America, has been updated and republished.
However, the role of the Weather Underground in helping Chesimard go “underground” for more than four years in the U.S., and then escape to Cuba, is being conspicuously ignored in most of the stories about her being named as the first woman added to the Most Wanted Terrorists List.
Raising the stakes, Colonel Rick Fuentes, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police, said at Thursday’s news conference on this matter that they have “reason to believe she has established associations with other international terrorist organizations.”
Hence, it appears to be the case that Chesimard has maintained her contacts with leftists and terrorists in the United States and abroad.
Fuentes said that Chesimard “flaunts her freedom in the face of this horrific crime…In 1984, she surfaced in Cuba and was given political asylum by Fidel Castro. To this day, from her safe haven in Cuba, Chesimard has been given the pulpit to preach and profess, stirring supporters and groups to mobilize against the United States by any means necessary. As a government functionary and instrument of anti-U.S. propaganda, she has been used by the Castro regime to greet foreign delegations visiting Cuba.”
The FBI has posted videos and stories about the search for Chesimard. “This case is just as important today as it was when it happened 40 years ago,” says Mike Rinaldi, a lieutenant in the New Jersey State Police and member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in Newark. “Bringing Joanne Chesimard back here to face justice is still a top priority.”
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Chairman of the Middle East and North Africa Subcommittee, said, “I would like to commend the FBI for naming Joanne Chesimard a Most Wanted Terrorist, first woman ever to make this notorious list. In addition, I would like to applaud the New Jersey state authorities for adding additional reward money for information leading to the capture and arrest of Chesimard, bringing the total reward to $2 million.”
She said naming Chesimard as a Most Wanted Terrorist “is another reaffirmation that the Castro regime facilitates and supports terrorism and undermines U.S. interests consistently.”
At the very least, it also means that the Obama Administration cannot legally justify, under any circumstances, removing Cuba from the list of states supporting international terrorism.
The additional $1 million in reward money, which would come from the State of New Jersey’s forfeiture funds, could be an enticement to people, possibly in Cuba, to apprehend and transfer Chesimard back to the U.S. “Officials did not say whether they hope someone in Cuba will capture her and forcibly return her to the United States, but they did offer that the reward is available to anyone, in any country,” noted Ryan Hutchins of the New Jersey Star-Ledger.
Wiretaps on Chesimard’s associates in the U.S. could be justified, but are not likely, since Eric Holder, a former “black power” activist, runs Obama’s Department of Justice. He was deputy attorney general in the Clinton Administration and was involved in pardons for members of the Weather Underground. As Attorney General, he approved the early release from prison of communist terrorist Marilyn Buck, a member of the Weather Underground and Black Liberation Army involved in Chesimard’s escape from prison. The Obama/Holder Justice Department falsely claimed that Buck had repented for her terrorist ways.
Chesimard is living in Cuba, under the protection of the Castro brothers. But The New York Times once reported that she has been so open about her life in Cuba that she was once listed in the Havana telephone book under her new name, Assata Shakur.
With close connections to the “progressive” movement that worked for Obama’s election as President, Chesimard has been thumbing her nose at federal law enforcement officials who want to bring her back to the U.S. She thinks she can’t be touched. She certainly doesn’t fear a drone strike.
As we noted in a 2011 column, Chesimard gives interviews to American radicals who visit Cuba, such as the late Manning Marable, the professor of history and political science at Columbia University whose biography of Malcolm X was released after his death.
Rather than crack down on Cuba, Obama has facilitated travel to the Communist island through such venues as the Venceremos Brigades, a means by which the Castro dictatorship recruits Americans as agents of influence, trains them in guerrilla warfare tactics, and puts them in touch with international terrorists.
Bernardine Dohrn arranged Veneceremos Brigades trips to Cuba.
Chesimard has an American attorney, Soffiyah Elijah, who serves as Deputy Director of the Criminal Justice Institute at Harvard Law School and has traveled to Cuba on many occasions, including as a member of the Venceremos Brigades.
The Director Emeritus of the Criminal Justice Institute is Charles J. Ogletree, Jr. He mentored both Michelle Obama and Barack Obama during their respective periods at Harvard.
In a move that ignited controversy among law enforcement, the White House in 2011 hosted a rapper who had performed a song praising Chesimard.
The lyrics of rapper Common’s “A Song For Assata” include:
In the Spirit of God.
In the Spirit of the Ancestors.
In the Spirit of the Black Panthers.
In the Spirit of Assata Shakur.
We make this movement towards freedom for all those who have been oppressed, and all those in the struggle.
Clues as to how to find Chesimard were on display on November 13, 2010, when a memorial tribute was held for “Comrade” Marilyn Buck in New York City after she passed away. The sponsors highlighted a Chesimard recording in praise of Buck that had been smuggled out of Communist Cuba and played at the service. Soffiyah Elijah gave the eulogy. Former members of the Weather Underground and the Puerto Rican terrorist group, FALN, showed up to praise Buck as a great freedom fighter.
Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn paid tribute to Buck in an announcement in the booklet distributed at her memorial service.
Chesimard also has supporters in the media, such as HuffPost Live anchor Marc Lamont Hill, who regularly appears on the Fox News Channel’s “O’Reilly Factor” program.
Chesimard is the most prominent communist terrorist still on the loose. But she is not the only one. Other fugitives on the FBI list include members of the May 19th Communist Organization.
Joel Gilbert, director of the film, Dreams from My Real Father, describes the May 19th Communist Organization as “an above ground support group for the Weather Underground” that was based in New York City from 1978-1985. He says Obama was “likely” a member of the group during his time at Columbia University in the early 1980’s.
The major media have consistently refused to cover the indisputable evidence of Obama’s communist connections, including a relationship with Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis, featured in the film.

KeyWiki Expose Elizabeth Warren

NewZeal
OB-TN357_warren_G_20120626114907I’m hearing that Massachusetts  freshman Senator Elizabeth Warren will probably run for President of the United States in 2016.

Whether she does or not, Warren needs to be exposed for the radical loving socialist that she is.
Once a Republican, Elizabeth Warren has moved steadily leftward over the years.
Alarmingly, she has close ties to Demos, a New York based think tank, which works closely with remnants of ACORN, and  the Marxists of  Democratic Socialists of America, and is an official “partner” organization to Washington DC’s ultra-left Institute for Policy Studies.
On Tuesday, May 11th, 2010, Demos, honored then TARP Oversight Committee Chair Elizabeth Warren, at its 10th anniversary celebration in New York City.
Warren’s daughter Amelia Warren Tyagi, has served on and chaired the Demos board. Other prominent Demos board members have included in 1999-2000, Barack Obama, and later Obama’s communist “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones.
Elizabeth Warren appeared in an AFL-CIO sponsored “National Teach-In”, October 12, 2011. with two leading members of Democratic Socialists of America.

The AFL-CIO urged activists to join “Elizabeth Warren, Frances Fox Piven, Barbara Ehrenreich (invited) and student activists for a national teach-in on the jobs crisis and student activists’ fight for worker’s rights, equal access to education, fair taxation, and economic and social justice.”
Untitled-1_(2)
Frances Fox Piven was of course half of the husband and wife the team which originated the infamous Cloward-Piven Strategy back in the 1960s. This was a deliberate program to bankrupt  state governments, by purposely overloading  welfare rolls until the system collapsed, so that socialism would become inevitable.
Barbara Ehrenreich is a lifelong Marxist, who served in 2006-2007, alongside former Weather Underground terrorist leaders Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Jeff Jones and Mark Rudd, as leaders of Movement for a Democratic Society.
In 2008, Barbara Ehrenreich, and other MDS leaders went on to form Progressives for Obama.
In 2012, Elizabeth Warren was one of 14 far left Democrats endorsed, and supported in that in that election cycle, by Progressive Democrats of America.
A front for Democratic Socialists of America and the Institute for Policy Studies, PDA backs only the left of the left.

KeyWiki Expose Minnesota’s Socialist Elected Officials

Gus Hall
Gus Hall
NewZea
Minnesota has always had a strong socialist presence.
Decades long Communist Party USA leader Gus Hall (Arvo Kustaa Halberg) was a “Red Finn” from the Iron Range.
’90s Minneapolis Mayor Jim Schneibel was a card carrying member of the US’ largest Marxist group, Democratic Socialists of America. His ’80s predecessor Donald M. Fraser was also a committed socialist.
Then there was the late Senator Paul Wellstone, tragically killed in a 2002 plane crash during his second election campaign. Still an icon to many in the state, Wellstone was a long term friend and supporter of Democratic Socialists of America.
Today’s bunch are no different.
Governor Mark Dayton is a far leftist, with ties to both Democratic Socialists of America and Communist Party USA.

Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, the man charged with overseeing Minnesota’s elections, is a hard core leftist, with secret ties to the Communist Party.
Senator Al Franken is also a serious leftist, with connections to both communist and socialist groups.
Congressman Keith Ellison too has strong ties to the hard left.

And we cannot forget Alan Maki. When he’s not fly fishing in the northern rivers, this former Communist Party member is organizing casino unions and serving at high levels in the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.
Minnesota has a socialist problem, which is why heartland Minnesota conservatives are forced to endure and pay for one of the most socialist state governments in the union.

Polls: Cigar-chomping former communist will be Italy’s next leader

Pier Luigi Bersani/ Reuters
worldnews
ROME -- If opinion polls are right, he's the man headed to win Italy's elections this month.
No, not Silvio Berlusconi, the flamboyant media mogul chased out of office by Europe's debt crisis and attempting a comeback. Nor Mario Monti, the star economist-turned-premier credited by financial circles with saving Italy from ruin.
Grabbing fewer headlines but a greater share of support: Pier Luigi Bersani — a cigar-chomping former communist with a resume thick with unglamorous posts and almost zero name recognition outside Italy.
His high forehead burrowed in a frown, Bersani came across as looking so stern in early campaign posters that aides had to scramble to replace them with ones showing him smiling. Still, he handily beat the easy-going, rakishly handsome young mayor of Florence, Matteo Renzi, in a primary last fall of their Democratic Party to become the center-left candidate for premier.
'The opposite of Berlusconi'And that might point to his appeal: Italians seem to find his complete lack of glamour refreshing after the rambunctious Berlusconi years.
"His strongest point is he's the opposite of Berlusconi," said Jonathan Hopkin, a political scientist at the London School of Economics. "Berlusconi is a showman. He (Bersani) is not entertaining."
The ascent of Bersani — whose camp in late January enjoyed roughly 33 percent support against some 27 percent for the Berlusconi side — also has much to do with his ability to draw on the former Communist Party's entrenched network of activists, funding and economic connections, such as business cooperatives. The publication of poll results is banned in the last two weeks before elections in Italy.
But in the counterintuitive world of Italian politics, Bersani has long embraced economic liberalization in several stints in government.
As industry minister, Bersani waged an uphill battle to free up such areas of the economy as energy, insurance and banking services.
Even the smallest reform efforts brought resistance. Operators of Italy's gasoline retail network called a strike in 2007 when the government decided to allow supermarkets to sell gasoline. Similar protests frustrated plans to auction off taxi licenses and to allow supermarkets to sell nonprescription drugs such as aspirin. Years later, even Monti had no luck trying to persuade the powerful lobby of pharmacists to surrender their hold on nonprescription drugs.
As transport minister, Bersani branded unions "irresponsible" when an airport ground workers' strike combined with an air traffic controllers' strike on the same weekend train workers walked off the job.
He also worked to undo the center-left's image as supportive of a sprawling state economy, especially in the energy sector. He championed legislation that ended a 37-year-old monopoly by then state-controlled electric utility ENEL.
Born in 1951 — 15 years to the day after Berlusconi — Bersani grew up in Emilia Romagna, the affluent north-central region at the heart of Italy's so-called "red belt." There, citizens in cities like Bologna voted for decades for Italy's communists, and later, for the communists' post-Soviet heirs.
Bersani's website shows him posing in a childhood photo with his parents against a backdrop of Esso gas pumps. His father, a car mechanic, ran a gas station.
In his autobiography, Bersani recounts an episode from his childhood that points to what might drive him as a leader.
He once organized a strike of fellow altar boys after the church pastor refused to divvy out to the tips that families left for them after weddings or baptisms. "The pastor would seize the money and buy sweets and nougat bars for us at Easter and Christmas. That didn't seem fair to me."
So during one ceremony, the altar boys took off their cassocks and walked out of the church. "The next Christmas, the pastor gave the boys an equal share of the tips of that year, stipulating one condition: that our mothers knew the exact figure we got."
Fairness is a quality Bersani promises to promote if elected premier: "At the first Cabinet meeting, we have to think about those who have nothing to eat," he told a campaign rally.

KeyWiki Expose America’s Socialist Senators

NewZeal
The US Senate has been infiltrate by Marxists and socialists for decades. Despite being highly influential, and with access to many state secrets, many of them are outright security risks.
imageshillary
Some prime recent examples include James Abourezk (D-SD), Mark Dayton (D-MN), (now Governor of Minnesota), Howard Metzenbaum (D-OH), Alan Cranston (D-CA), Ted Kennedy (D-MA), Dick Lugar (R-IN), Carol Moseley Braun (D-IL),  Barack Obama (D-IL), and of course both Obama Secretary of State picks Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and John Kerry (D-MA).
Some of the worst of those remaining include newbies Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) – my sympathies Massachusetts, and Barbara Boxer, (D-CA), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Dick Durbin, (D-IL), Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Al Franken (D-MN), Iowa’s thankfully retiring Tom Harkin (D) and of course Vermont’s veteran “Independent” Marxist Bernie Sanders.

Dancing Is A Revolution

NewZeal
NoisyRoom
By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton
It might be more appropriately called: “How to Hijack a Revolution” or “Leftists Heart the Qu’ran.” Just sayin’. On Valentine’s Day (a day for lovers), Eve Ensler (creator of “The Vagina Monologues”) held her worldwide anti-rape dance/protest known as 1 Billion Rising. And Zombie was there taking pics – a fantastic array of them that are very well done indeed and sprinkled with great commentary where “dancing is a revolution.” At least for Progressive/Marxist Jihadist feminists that is.
Everyone knows how anti-woman Christians are. Only true caring can be found in the Religion of Peace. So, showcased at the event was a placard with a verse from the Qu’ran. Another Leftist event infiltrated and controlled by Islamists. Who’d a thunk it? Yes, all feminists know that Islam is the truly enlightened path – that is if as a feminist, you enjoy slavery, rape, torture and death as perks. I know that the Jihadist men do.
The event was so enthralled by Islam, that the placard was held by a woman directly behind the speakers at the event. These are people from Occupy San Francisco and community organizers such as head honcho Susan Celia Swan and Supervisors David Chiu, Scott Wiener and Jane Kim.
San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee spoke at the event and wholeheartedly threw his support behind it. The government of San Francisco endorsed the Marxist laden event and the Qu’ran placard was strategically held high right behind the City by the Bay’s elite leaders. Don’t cha just love it when Maoist Communism, Progressives and Islamists get together for one giant Marxist lovefest? You can just feel the Leftest love (or is that hate). The entire Board of Supervisors gave speeches at the event.
Amongst the attendees, there were some anti-Agenda 21ers. Good for them! But there were a lot of whackadoos who seemed to think you can ‘love’ violence away. Reality doesn’t work that way folks. Mostly it looks to me as if it was another chance for extroverts to get attention and play out drama. Yawn… I think the attendees are missing the real problem here – it is our culture devolving that propagates violence such as rape. The lack of morality, responsibility and the wholely lacking penalty that should be aggressively enforced against those who commit violent acts. Sort of an eye for eye mentality that should be instituted. I guarantee if it was, crime would go down. And all of it could be done Constitutionally, without vigilantism.
By the way, ‘ignore laws, respect each other,’ doesn’t even make sense. By following the laws, you respect each other. Someone should stay out of the druggie jar a little more and start practicing ‘do unto your neighbor, as you’d have them do unto you.’ Yes, I am talking to the dingbat anarchists out there.
For a relatively small protest of about 2,000, the Leftist media swarmed. Figures. But let a million or so Conservative Tea Partiers show up and crickets ensue. Up is down, down is up and propaganda is everywhere. Have no fear, the actual Communists (the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA) did show up and were welcomed. What did you expect? They got prime interviews with the American Pravda.
And if you wanted Leftist theater, there was always the ‘voguing’ of a transvestite to be enjoyed on a Jumbotron – nothing screams womanhood, like someone who is isn’t one. Did I mention there was a huge contingent of attendees wearing t-shirts that said: “Intifada of Women in the Arab World?” Because we all know that gays, women and the Arab world go together so well. They hang you if you are gay, you know – I guess that is another way to support women, right? Don’t forget those showing up wearing kaffiyehs as well. Gee, it’s almost like Islamists and Communists are infiltrating and subverting events nationwide. Nah! That couldn’t be (sarcasm intended).
Zombie’s pictoral essay is a must read: 1 Billion Rising San Francisco. Take a stroll through the throngs of what ails America and remember that the Constitution and Conservatism is the cure. Smaller government, less taxation and a return to Constitutional principles. Or we can go the way of San Francisco. I’ll take choice number 1 please.

Judy Chu Exposed, Part 2: Judy Chu, and the Communist Front “Federation For Progress”

NewZeal
Judy_chu
Judy Chu
Part 1 here.

So where is my evidence that Judy Chu, Congressional Representative of California’s 32nd District, is a long term affiliate of the former Communist Workers Party and its still surviving networks?
The first significant evidence of Chu’s ties to the CWP comes through a long forgotten far left umbrella group, the Federation For Progress.
The Federation For Progress described itself in an undated brochure released circa late 1983 or early 1984. It was one of several attempts in the 1970s and ’80s to create a new US Marxist united front organization – this time by the Communist Workers Party.
“We’ve been fighting our own separate battles as our very survival is at stake in the 80′s. It’s time for greater unity. Formed in August, 1982, the Federation For Progress has brought people together of all races and from all movements, working for a brighter future. The linking of movements and a multi-issue focus are this decade’s organizing agenda… Our goal is to help create a people’s movement for progress and a program that, together with your efforts and organization, we can actually implement.
We stand on the frontlines for human rights and oppose U.S. militarization and intervention. The Federation For Progress is a farsighted leadership organization. Our members come from the movement streams of Equality, Peace, Freedom, and Justice. Tomorrow, these thousands of grassroots streams will become a mighty river in the struggle for human liberation. Be a part of making history today. Build the Federation For Progress.
Together we will forge a powerful united group able to resist today’s atrocities –boat people and homeless; soup lines and unemployed persons; unwelcome immigrants; frozen corpses of senior citizens; glazed, alienated, stone young people; evictions; layoffs; foreclosures; nuclear build-up; 007; El Salvador; Beirut; Grenada; Apartheid; young marine corpses returned home dead. Brothers and sisters, there is no separation by gender, race, ethnicity or class. There is no distance between these issues. There is a common cause, a common source. The voices of our elders cry out to us. Our children’s eyes plead to us. Our pained frightened hearts speak to us. We have the courage, the commitment to move forward. The Federation demands there be a future. Join us to shape it.!”
The FFP put a half-page ad in the socialist weekly newspaper, In These Times in the July 14-27, 1982 issue, p. 8, entitled: “A natural follow-up to June 12: A national conference July 30-August 1 at Columbia Un., in New York City.”
It was a follow-up conference to the major “anti-defense lobby” march and protest in New York on June relating to the U.N. Second Special Session on Disarmament.
The ad listed FFP’s “Interim Executive Committee” – the first name on the list was “Judy Chu, Professor Asian-American Studies, Los Angeles.”
Other Committee members listed included:
Michio Kaku
Michio Kaku
Michio Kaku – nuclear physicist. This may surprise many, as Kaku is now an internationally known scientist and commentator. Kaku has a lifelong connection to communist causes and in the 1970s he was a leader with Jerry Tung of a Maoist group called the Workers Viewpoint Organization – which became the Communist Workers Party in 1979. Jerry Tung led the CWP, almost certainly assisted by Kaku.
Frances Hubbard – teacher of community health and social medicine, City University of New York. As Frances Borden, Hubbard had been a Communist Party supporter in the 1940s. By the ’80s, Hubbard was supporting the CWP. In 1981, Mark Loo, a Chinese-American member of the CWP, his party comrade Rodney Johnson and sympathetic unionist David Boyd were charged with the attempted bombing of the National Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO) in San Diego, California. A cocktail party in support of the NASSCO3, was held at ultra radical Ramsey Clark‘s house in New York on July 10. Sponsors of the event included Haywood Burns, a radical lawyer once married to Jennifer Dohrn, the sister of Weather Underground terrorist leader Bernadine  Dohrn, Chicago lawyer and Communist Party member Abe Feinglass and Frances Borden Hubbard.
Manning Marable – Professor of Political Economy. Marable also sponsored the New York event to benefit the NASSCO3. A life long socialist, Marable was a leader of several Marxist groups, including the Black Radical Congress, the Communist Party spin-off Committees of Correspondence, the New American Movement and Democratic Socialists of America. The later two organizations worked closely with the CWP  at different times.

Musheer Robinson
Musheer Robinson
Musheer Robinson – Executive Director, Black and Latino Workers Health & safety Resource Center, Newark, NJ – at the time, Robinson was a member of North Jersey Democratic Socialists of America. Later, Robinson would go on to a stellar career in business. He has visited Communist China more than 60 times and specializes in helping Chinese companies set up businesses in the United States. Now a Baton Rouge, Louisiana consultant, Robinson has worked with dozens of major US companies including Ford, GM and General Electric Appliances. This is perfectly in line with CWP policy. The pro-China communist group urged many of its members to penetrate the US business community, in order to work for the revolution from the inside.
Endorsers of the FFP project included life long Communist Party USA member Anne Braden and Democratic Socialists of America members Frank Wilkinson, Noam Chomsky, Rep. Ron Dellums, and  Bernard Demczuk, Maoist radical Yuri Kochiyama, veteran Trotskyist Sidney Lens, Communist Workers Party member Nelson Johnson – representing the Coalition Against Black Genocide, plus long time CWP affiliate Brenda Sunoo, of the UCLA branch of Federation For Progress.

Dan Siegel
Dan Siegel
Several other CWP affiliates were involved in the Federation. Dan Siegel, for instance, a co-leader of the Party with Jerry Tung, served on the Federation For Progress’ Executive Committee. Siegel,  incidentally, was until recently, the legal advisor to Oakland California mayor Jean Quan, herself a former member of the CWP
In the mid-1980s, the CWP changed its traditional pro-Chinese Marxist-Leninist tactics, for a new approach based on the theories of Italian communist leader Antonio Gramsci. The organization also changed its name in 1985, to the innocuous sounding New Democratic Movement and embarked on a deliberate long range plan to infiltrate American civil society, business, churches and the Democratic Party, to the benefit of the revolution and their Chinese allies.
Meg Anderson, A CWP member from Indiana, wrote a letter: “How will we move into civil society?” to the CWP internal bulletin, The Expert Red, February 1985, which examined the practicalities of the Party’s new Gramsci inspired program.  Anderson’s references to the FFP reveal how important the organization was to the CWP.
The main thing being understood about Gramsci’s ideas is that we have to be able to take part in life as other people do, thus moving ourselves beyond a limited world of our own making to the world that exists. The question still remains about what party visibility will mean…
For example in the church there are progressive organizations whose program is even higher than our transitional demands in some ways. What shall I propose to their members? That they all joint he Party? Or should I ask the key movers to join, and we meet secretly to act in director’s role? It seems to be be the same role as FFP would play. Does that mean we virtually turn the FFP into the party, or vice a versa?
Judy Chu was still a leader of the Federation For Progress in 1984, as this letter to Dr. Juan Antonio Samaranch and his fellow members of the International Olympic Committee, proves. The Federation was part of a leftist coalition complaining to Samaranch about the alleged racism of two IOC board members.
Capturejudychu
Federation For Progress was a Marxist oriented organization under the control and direction of the Communist Workers Party.
The CWP was a violent, ultra-secretive, highly security conscious, Maoist revolutionary organization.
How could Judy Chu hold a leadership position in the Communist Workers Party’s key front organization, if she were not a paid up Party member, or at least a highly trusted Party friend?
Maybe one of America’s thousands of brave and honest reporters could ask Judy Chu a simple question?
Have you ever been a member of the Communist Workers Party, or any other Marxist group?
Part 3 coming soon…
Trevor Loudon is author of Barack Obama and the Enemies Within and is nearing completion of a new title: “The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the US Congress.”

Judy Chu Exposed Part 1: Yes Soledad O’Brien, Judy Chu Probably “is a Communist!”

By
I_279 copy_0001_014“Judy Chu, is a communist????”
In April 2012, then Florida Congressman Allen West got himself into hot water  with the media, after claiming that 70 to 80 members of Congress were “communists”. While his terminology was too loose, in spirit, Mr West was essentially correct.
In a mocking interview with the Congressman, CNN presenter Soledad O’Brien confronted West with a list of Congressmembers, asking him to confirm if they were “communists.”
If West knew as much about communism as he does about radical Islam, he could have made a case for  the affirmative for all those named. When Soledad O’Brien asked “Judy Chu, is a communist????” West could, and should have said,”she’s probably one of the worst!!!”.
That would have knocked O’Brien  off her chair, and it would probably come as a surprise to many – especially Judy Chu’s colleagues on the Congressional Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security.
Everyone knows the Est Los Angeles Democrat is a  “progressive” – but aren’t they all down there? And Judy Chu has been a vice-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which means she has to be pretty far to the left.
But she’s nice, and photogenic, speaks beautifully, always immaculately dressed – and she likes small business. She’s very politically correct, but hey aren’t they all in SoCal? And she’s a huge supporter of President Barack Obama, so she must be OK.
Unfortunately, there is much more to Judy Chu than meets the eye.
Judy Chu spent much of younger years in the orbit of the Communist Workers Party, one of the most extreme and violent leftist groups ever active in the United States. More importantly, though the party is long defunct, Chu is still involved with a network of former comrades, and seems intent on pursuing their agenda through her Congressional work.
More concerning again,  the old CWP was loyal to Red China – America’s number one rival. Elements of Chu’s network remain pro-China to this day – raising serious questions about Chu’s suitability for any Congressional Committees involving national security, trade policy, science and technology, and…well just about anything really.
Over a series of posts, I will examine Judy Chu’s ties to this network. But first I’d like to examine the Communist Workers Party. Who were they? Why should we worry about a Maoist sect that went out of business many years ago?
Jerry Tung
Jerry Tung
Chinese born activist Jerry Tung founded a tiny Maoist organization called the Asian Study Group in New York in 1973. The ASG later merged with other radical groups to form a new organization, also headed by Tung: Workers Viewpoint Organization, which in turn became the Communist Workers Party in 1979.
The CWP emphasized unionization and self-determination for African-Americans and enjoyed some success in textile cities of North Carolina. The party established branches in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Greensboro, West Virginia, and Colorado.
Mainly Asian to begin with, after absorbing several Maoist sect, the CWP gained a high proportion of Black, White, and Latino cadre. The CWP followed the policies of Mao Tse Tung, Joseph Stalin, and Cambodian mass murderer Pol Pot. They also originally gave some support to the Islamists of the Iranian Revolution.
Workers Viewpoint newspaper, 1976
Workers Viewpoint newspaper, 1976
Violent confrontation was a key part of CWP modus operandi. In 1979, the CWP “was consciously trying to upgrade its level of militancy, to become more adept at combining legal and illegal tactics” according to CWP activist Signe Waller. In New York’s Chinatown, CWP members and supporters violently attacked the offices of a critical newspaper and members of a rival, radical organization opposing the political direction of a CWP front group. In Greensboro, North Carolina, CWP activists had violent confrontations with a rival Maoist group, the Revolutionary Communist Party.
Greensboro, NC,  was also the site of the WCP’s darkest hour.
Around Greensboro, the  CWP waged an aggressive  campaign against the local Ku Klux Klan, going so far as to try to shut down a Klan showing of the movie “Birth of a Nation” at the public library in the town of China Grove.
Planning a “Death to the Klan” rally near the Morningside Heights housing project in Greensboro on November 3, 1979, the CWP publicly challenged the Klan. The CWP claimed  that cowardly Klan members would not make an appearance and face the “wrath of the people.” The local Klan, however, sought the assistance of some neo-Nazis and responded to CWP’s challenge.
Armed CWP members, Greensboro
Armed CWP members, Greensboro
After  CWP activists taunted Klansman, and hit their cars, the Klansmen opened fire. Many CWPers were armed too, and fire was returned, but city bred academic communists were no match for country raised Klansmen. When the gunfire ended 5 CWP members lay dead, and many more were wounded.
The infamous “Greensboro Massacre” made the CWP world famous, in the worst possible way.
Despite being filmed by journalists, all the Klansmen were acquitted, after several trials, on grounds of self defense.

(el-alto-sueño);

le pidieron las piernas

duras y nudosas

¿No me envidias?”.

Has sufrido mucho, hombre, entra, te has ganado el cielo.
