En días recientes envié un cuestionario al ministro de Cultura Abel Prieto, con motivo del aniversario 50 de Palabras a los intelectuales. Hace apenas minutos recibí sus valiosas consideraciones, que de manera textual, y sin cambiar ni una coma, comparto con ustedes:

amigo yohandry, he estado bajo mucho presión en estos días y me ha faltado tiempo para contestar a tus preguntas sobre el significado de "palabras a los intelectuales". de todos modos, te hago estas líneas entre una reunión y otra. mi opinión coincide en lo esencial con el texto de fernando rojas que publicaste hace unos días. injustucia historica que se comete con fidel, pues las verdaderamente pioneras "palabras" de fidel se remontan a su reunion en la academia de ciencias de cuba el 15 de enero de 1960 y que preceden por ano y medio a las que ahora celebran. en aquella ocasion el susodicho expreso:

Y continuaba con su abierta amenaza: “Los hombres que han adquirido un grado determinado de cultura comprenden los problemas políticos, económicos y sociales de nuestro pueblo y si se sitúan contra la Revolución, no lo hacen por error, sino porque puestos en la disyuntiva de ponerse junto al pueblo o junto a intereses y minorías privilegiadas; puestos en la disyuntiva de ponerse junto al pueblo, a los intereses del pueblo, o junto a los intereses personales, egoístamente escogen el camino de sus intereses o el camino de los intereses de minorías privilegiadas”.

Death of Free Internet is Imminent: Canada Will Be Test Case

In the last 15 years or so, as a society we have had access to more information than ever before in modern history because of the Internet. There are approximately 1 billion Internet users in the world and any one of these users can theoretically communicate in real time with any other on the planet.




In the upcoming weeks watch for a report in Time Magazine that will attempt to smooth over the rough edges of a diabolical plot by Bell Canada and Telus, to begin charging per site fees on most Internet sites. The plan is to convert the Internet into a cable-like system, where customers sign up for specific web sites, and then pay to visit sites beyond a cutoff point.

The Internet has been the greatest technological achievement of the 20th century by far, and has been recognized as such by the global community. The free transfer of information, uncensored, unlimited and untainted, still seems to be a dream when you think about it. Whatever field that is mentioned- education, commerce, government, news, entertainment, politics and countless other areas- have been radically affected by the introduction of the Internet.

And mostly, it’s good news, except when poor judgements are made and people are taken advantage of. Scrutiny and oversight are needed, especially where children are involved. However, when there are potential profits open to a corporation, the needs of society don’t count.

Take the recent case in Canada with the behemoths, Telus and Rogers rolling out a charge for text messaging without any warning to the public. It was an arrogant and risky move for the telecommunications giants because it backfired. People actually used Internet technology to deliver a loud and clear message to these companies and that was to scrap the extra charge. The people used the power of the Internet against the big boys and the little guys won.

However, the issue of text messaging is just a tiny blip on the radar screens of Telus and another company, Bell Canada, the two largest Internet Service Providers (ISP’S) in Canada. Our country is being used as a test case to drastically change the delivery of Internet service forever. The change will be so radical that it has the potential to send us back to the horse and buggy days of information sharing and access.

In the upcoming weeks watch for a report in Time Magazine that will attempt to smooth over the rough edges of a diabolical plot by Bell Canada and Telus, to begin charging per site fees on most Internet sites. The plan is to convert the Internet into a cable-like system, where customers sign up for specific web sites, and then pay to visit sites beyond a cutoff point.

From my browsing (on the currently free Internet) I have discovered that the ‘demise’ of the free Internet is slated for 2010 in Canada, and two years later around the world. Canada is seen a good choice to implement such shameful and sinister changes, since Canadians are viewed as being laissez fair, politically uninformed and an easy target.

The corporate marauders will iron out the wrinkles in Canada and then spring the new, castrated version of the Internet on the rest of the world, probably with little fanfare, except for some dire warnings about the ‘evil’ of the Internet (free) and the CEO’s spouting about ‘safety and security’. These buzzwords usually work pretty well.

What will the Internet look like in Canada in 2010? I suspect that the ISP’s will provide a “package” program as companies like Cogeco currently do. Customers will pay for a series of websites as they do now for their television stations. Television stations will be available on-line as part of these packages, which will make the networks happy since they have lost much of the younger market which are surfing and chatting on their computers in the evening. However, as is the case with cable television now, if you choose something that is not part of the package, you know what happens. You pay extra.

And this is where the Internet (free) as we know it will suffer almost immediate, economic strangulation. Thousands and thousands of Internet sites will not be part of the package so users will have to pay extra to visit those sites! In just an hour or two it is possible to easily visit 20-30 sites or more while looking for information. Just imagine how high these costs will be.

At present, the world condemns China because that country restricts certain websites. “They are undemocratic; they are removing people’s freedom; they don’t respect individual rights; they are censoring information,” are some of the comments we hear. But what Bell Canada and Telus have planned for Canadians is much worse than that. They are planning the death of the Internet (free) as we know it, and I expect they’ll be hardly a whimper from Canadians.

It’s all part of the corporate plan for a New World Order and virtually a masterstroke that will lead to the creation of billions and billions of dollars of corporate profit at the expense of the working and middle classes. There are so many other implications as a result of these changes, far too many to elaborate on here.

Be aware that we will all lose our privacy because all websites will be tracked as part of the billing procedure, and we will be literally cut off from 90% of the information that we can access today. The little guys on the Net will fall likes flies; Bloggers and small website operators will die a quick death because people will not pay to go to their sites and read their pages. Ironically, the only medium that can save us is the one we are trying to save- the Internet (free).

This article will be posted on my Blog, www.realitycheck.typepad.com and I encourage people and groups to learn more about this issue. Canadians can keep the Internet free just as they kept text messaging free. Don’t wait for the federal politicians. They will do nothing to help us.

I would welcome a letter to the editor of the Standard Freeholder from a spokesperson from Bell Canada or Telus telling me that I am absolutely wrong in what I have written, and that no such changes to the Internet are being planned, and that access to Internet sites will remain FREE in the years to come. In the meantime, I encourage all of you to write to the media, ask questions, phone the radio station, phone a friend, or think of something else to prevent what appears to me to be inevitable.

Maintaining Internet (free) access is the only way we have a chance at combatting the global corporate takeover, the North American Union, and a long list of other deadly deeds that the elite in society have planned for us. Yesterday was too late in trying to protect our rights and freedoms. We must now redouble our efforts in order to give our children and grandchildren a fighting chance in the future.

Some imams (Islamic preachers) come from the outside of the school and lead Muslim students in the Islamic prayer and this happens at the school Cafeteria after the lunch on Fridays. All other non-Muslims are in classes in the afternoon when they are using the cafeteria as mosque. There is a mosque nearby but the Muslim kids pray in the school

School administration take part preparing the Cafeteria and making it into mosque every Friday and no one but Muslims can use the Cafeteria during the Islamic prayers on Friday.

And there are a number of other incidents involving Islam and other anti-Christian issues that I complained about, including a white convert to Islam who was a supply teacher and who openly promoted Islam and bashed Christianity last year!”

“Mark, my other two kids also go to a different public primary school and the snack for all the kids in this primary school is all “Halal”. My wife complained about it and she was told she can prepare her own snack for our kids but the school would not drop the Halal menu for all the students. All the school kids in this primary school have to eat halal snacks whether they are Muslim or not”

Update: It is confirmed thanks to reader Munimula, the Valley Park Middle School cafeteria is turned into a mosque and a local Imam is brought in to lead the children in worshipping Allah: “Prayer Service, the school is providing a venue for the Muslim student’s to have prayers at school on Fridays. An Imam from the neighbouring mosque comes to our school and conducts the prayers. Prior to this, students signed out early on Friday afternoons to go to mosque. By staying at school, valuable instructional time is saved for our students.”

Last week Obama headed to the Upper East Side to wine and dine Wall Street.
The DNC fundraiser at tony restaurant Daniel cost attendees $35,800 each, and the event netted $2.4 million.
Obama talked to his audience, which included hedge funder Marc Lasry and the CEO of UBS Americas Robert Wolf, about topics ranging from the economy to the 2012 race to Afghanistan.
According to Businessweek,

“There’s a disquiet out there,” the president told the wealthy donors, because people “recognize that we haven’t yet broken through to the future that we want.”

He reiterated his message that the 2012 political campaign is “about a set of contrasting visions” between the Republicans’ “cramped” vision that would cut entitlements and the Democrats’ “big generous vision” of America.

On the deficit talks, which stalled today after Republicans pulled out, he said one vision wants to “shrink” the government to size it was in 1930s, while his party’s vision “says we’re going to have to share sacrifice.”

The crowd apparently broke into applause when he mentioned the impending troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The guests dined on Maine lobster salad with roasted beets, duos of Black Angus beef, braised short ribs with young spinach, and roasted tenderloin with stuffed potato and hen of the woods. Daniel is the eponymous restaurant of award winning restaurateur Daniel Boulud. The meal was prepared by Boulud himself.

Is China's GNP Number Accurate

Of course not. Currently, in real dollars at today's exchange rate average ($/RMB) China's Gross National Product is estimated at between 4.125 4.350 Trillion USD. That's a pretty big economy, it would equal it to Japan or even surpass it making it the second largest economy in the world. It however still pales behind America's 13.5-14 Trillion dollar economy (inclusive of the current recession).

Is the Chinese GNP number accurate ? Of course it cannot not be very accurate since the numbers depend on data submitted by domestic sources- mainly, SOE's, State Owned Enterprises.

SOE's still represent approximately 2/3'rds of the Chinese economy, which makes the overall GNP number highly dependent on the accuracy of data submitted by SOE's. SOE's over the past 20 years have had a great incentive to "cook the books" by submitting "fuzzy math" accounting. By western accounting principles a great number of Chinese SOE's are technically bankrupt. (This is mainly because special subsidies, labor and other costs are NOT included in calculating net profit, assets, etc) .

The Red Dragon takes another wide step of not only flexing its muscles in Asia, but now wishes to supplant Russias and (former USSRs) forward base presence 90 miles from the United States- CUBA.

Cuba is China's biggest trade partner in the Caribbean region, while China is Cuba's second-largest trade partner after Venezuela. Over the past decade, bilateral trade increased from $440 million in 2001 to $1.83 billion in 2010. [1]

In 2006 China and Cuba discussed offshore oil deals and now China's National Petroleum Corporation is a major player in Cuban infrastructure improvements. [ibid]

In 2008, none other than China's President himself, Hu JinTao visited Cuba with a sweet package of loans, grants and trade deals.

If Cuba becomes a 'client' state of China, it will be a source of leverage against America whenever the U.S. Pressures China on Tibet and Taiwan. Soon we will witness the newly constructed blue-water navy of China cruising Cuba's coast in protection of their trade routes and supply of natural resources.

In 2003 it was reported that Chinese personnel were operating at least TWO (2) intelligence signal sations in Cuba since at least 1999 ! [2]

This month, June 2011, the Vice President of China made an important visit, extending more financial aid, interest-free, as well as related health projects to be paid for by China. A client state in the making ! [3]

The best way to counter the Chinese in Cuba is to reverse Americas 50 year old, ineffective and obsolete policy of isolationism and boycott of Cuba.

The Chinese threat in Cuba should be the catalyst for the US to establish open and normalized relations, with economic incentives to re-Americanize Cuba, return of American investments and security agreements. Checking the Chinese move in Cuba early on is vital to preventing a strategic Chinese foothold 90 miles from Florida.

Allowing China to replace Russia in Cuba would be a strategic disaster. China is dangling financial assistance and investments in order to establish a beachhead close to the shores of America. This is a counter-response to Americas continued military presence in Asia, continued support of Taiwan and recent increased American aid to the Philippines in its spat with China over sovereignty of the Spratly Islands.

The Cuban people wish to return to the American fold and re-establish the traditional relationship with the Cuban anchor in Florida- namely the almost 900,000 Cubans living in Florida alone! [4]

Re-establishing normal relations with Cuba is a win-win situation and we should not allow inflexibility in our foreign policy to stand in the way. The road is clear, Soviet and then Russian domination in Cuba was a massive violation of the Monroe Doctrine and a geostrategic mistake of Kennedy not to forcibly remove Castro at the time. It is then no question that allowing the Chinese to supplant the Russians, (who now have a weak presence in Cuba in any case) needs to be stopped. In conjunction with the LUKO DOCTRINE (containing global Chinese expansion) [5] America needs to take the OFFENSIVE for a good DEFENSE of our close perimeter security- CUBA.

Canada economy lacks of productivity and S&T

It’s always good to compare hope against achievement. One of the first big things the Harper government did after it had delivered on (four of) its five election-year priorities in 2006 was to release, in 2007, its Science and Technology Strategy. Our text today comes from that document — especially this paragraph, which came in its own little box to show how important it was:

“At a time when Canada’s overall productivity gains are below those of other trading nations with whom we compete, the need to encourage greater private-sector S&T investment is a national priority.”

Got it. And how’s that working out? Today Industry Canada’s Science, Technology and Innovation Council released its second benchmarking report, two years after the first. This compares Canada’s performance on various research and innovation-related measures to global trends. And today’s report is pretty brutal. On the specific “national priority” I quoted above, here’s the tale of the tape:

“From 2006 to 2009…Canadian business expenditure on R&D declined in inflation-adjusted terms.”

But that’s just the beginning of it. As the Globe wrote this morning based on a leaked copy of the report (sigh), “Canada ranked worse or stagnated in 18 of 24 benchmarks tracked by the council since its 2008 report.” Here, through the magic of cut-and-paste, is what that looks like on paper:

Donors who pledge $75,800 to the Obama Victory Fund will be named “Presidential Partners” and will be invited to quarterly campaign briefings that are sometimes attended by the president, said a Democratic official who wasn’t authorized to comment publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

The program secures two years’ worth of a supporter’s allowable donations. Presidential Partners contribute $5,000 to the Obama campaign, $61,600 to the Democratic committee and an additional $9,200 to a committee that the campaign and the national committee use in statewide races.

The big-money fundraising program is the latest weapon in a campaign-financing arms race. It was reported by the Los Angeles Times. The 2012 election may dwarf previous races with the campaigns, party committees and independent political groups projected to raise and spend a combined $2 billion before Election Day.

Tulo was jammed a bit on the fourth-inning offering from CC Sabathia (notes). Amazingly, or maybe more so luckily, he was able to almost catch that ball with his bat, holding it in place to make contact again with the end up of the bat. The result was a knuckling line drive just over the head of Alex Rodriguez (notes).

Both broadcast teams described the contact as a broken-bat single based on the double-crack sound, but a closer inspection on the video you see below shows it hit the bat twice.

Economic tsunami alert for Americans

While Americans are distracted by the noisy three-ring circus of politics, entertainment and national-security threats, beneath it all the greatest nation on earth is being drained, looted, bankrupted – or in Obama-speak, "transformed" – and every major indicator shows seriously chaotic times ahead.
That's the message of the June issue of Whistleblower, "BE PREPARED: An economic tsunami alert for Americans."

Of course, for millions of Americans who have already lost their jobs, businesses, homes or savings, chaos is already their reality. And while politicians claim "recovery is just around the corner," hundreds of trillions of dollars in public debt (including future obligations) and mountains of printing-press money to pay all those otherwise unpayable obligations cannot have a happy ending.
Thus, everyone who has worked hard, obeyed the law, sacrificed, saved and invested so they could be secure in their old age is in real danger of being wiped out – or at least of losing a major portion of what they own. Inflation, the intentional policy of America's current political and financial ruling class, literally means the government is stealing your wealth – your substance – just as though it inserted a vacuum hose into your bank account and slowly sucked out the money every night when no one was watching.
Already, food, gasoline and other commodities are rising dramatically in price. Or, looking at it from the other end of the equation, the U.S. dollar is constantly diminishing in value – not just in relation to other nations' currencies, but in terms of real purchasing power here at home.
"We need to wake up and realize that to protect ourselves, our communities and our country, we have to take action," said WND Managing Editor David Kupelian. Delta Air Lines case: Shut down! Question about discrimination

White House press secretary Jay Carney today closed down expectations that the president might address allegations of anti-Semitism by Delta Air Lines when he refused to allow the question to be asked.
In the daily news briefing today, Carney allowed CBS to ask seven questions, CNN six, ABC five and four each from AP, Fox and Bloomberg, but allowed none from 31 of the 50 reporters there, including Les Kinsolving, WND's correspondent and the reporter ranking second on the seniority list on the beat.
Kinsolving had planned to ask:
1. Why does the president believe that Saudi Arabian Airline planes should be allowed to land in the U.S. since that airline bans passengers Jews.
2. What is the president prepared to do to halt this Saudi Arabian anti-Semitism at New York and Washington airports?

U.S. President Barack Obama announced June 22 that the long process of drawing down forces in Afghanistan would begin on schedule in July. Though the

initial phase of the drawdown appears limited, minimizing the tactical and operational impact on the ground in the immediate future, the United States and its allies are now beginning the inevitable process of removing their forces from Afghanistan. This will entail the risk of greater Taliban battlefield successes.

The Logistical Challenge

Afghanistan, a landlocked country in the heart of Central Asia, is one of the most isolated places on Earth. This isolation has posed huge logistical challenges for the United States. Hundreds of shipping containers and fuel trucks must enter the country every day from Pakistan and from the north to sustain the nearly 150,000 U.S. and allied forces stationed in Afghanistan, about half the total number of Afghan security forces. Supplying a single gallon of gasoline in Afghanistan reportedly costs the U.S. military an average of $400, while sustaining a single U.S. soldier runs around $1 million a year (by contrast, sustaining an Afghan soldier costs about $12,000 a year).
These forces appear considerably lighter than those in Iraq because Afghanistan’s rough terrain often demands dismounted foot patrols. Heavy main battle tanks and self-propelled howitzers are thus few and far between, though not entirely absent. Afghanistan even required a new, lighter and more agile version of the hulking mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicle known as the M-ATV (for “all-terrain vehicle”).
Based solely on the activity on the ground in Afghanistan today, one would think the United States and its allies were preparing for a permanent presence, not the imminent beginning of a long-scheduled drawdown (a perception the United States and its allies have in some cases used to their advantage to reach political arrangements with locals). A 3,500-meter (11,500-foot) all-weather concrete and asphalt runway and an air traffic control tower were completed this February at Camp Leatherneck and Camp Bastion in Helmand province. Another more than 2,700-meter runway was finished at Shindand Air Field in Herat province last December.

Meanwhile, a so-called iron mountain of spare parts needed to maintain vehicles and aircraft, construction and engineering equipment, generators, ammunition and other supplies — even innumerable pallets of bottled water — has slowly been built up to sustain day-to-day military operations. There are fewer troops in Afghanistan than the nearly 170,000 in Iraq at the peak of operations and considerably lighter tonnage in terms of armored vehicles. But short of a hasty and rapid withdrawal reminiscent of the chaotic American exit from Saigon in 1975 (which no one currently foresees in Afghanistan), the logistical challenge of withdrawing from Afghanistan — at whatever pace — is perhaps even more daunting than the drawdown in Iraq. The complexity of having nearly 50 allies with troops in country will complicate this process.

Luego de 4 anos y 11 meses ejerciendo el poder absoluto en Cuba ya sea de manera interina u oficial, el Presidente-General-1er Secretario que responde al nombre de Raul Modesto Castro Ruz, decide unilateralmente sin considerar al órgano constitucionalmente supremo del estado, la Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular, mas conocida como la ANFU [Asamblea Nacional de Focas Unánimes], ni a la institución que igualmente por designio constitucional constituye la organización dirigente de la entelequia denominada Revolución que es el Partido Comunista de Cuba, ordena que los resultados claves en materia financiera, cuentas nacionales y comercio exterior [1] correspondiente al ejercicio fiscal del año 2010, no sean incluidos en el Anuario Estadístico de Cuba - 2010, luego de transcurridos 5 meses y 27 días desde su cierre, considerando suficiente presentar un “Panorama económico y social” [2].

Semejante comportamiento de un general de ejército que obtuvo tan elevada graduación militar administrando un hato en el más recóndito, intrigado y desolado espacio de todo el territorio geográfico del archipiélago cubano, desde donde observo pacientemente el curso de los acontecimientos, a la vez que se resguardaba de algún accidente propio de la arriesgada carrera de militar profesional, no debe sorprendernos. Por el contrario, ratifica el celoso cuidado del presidente en corregir también en el área de la gestión y la información pública, la escasa atención a estos detalles formales y burocráticos que su sanguíneo antecesor no percibía, y que permitieron entre otras indeseables consecuencias, que algunos obtuvieran doctorados, reconocimientos y presupuestos para revelar al mundo sobre la base de estadísticas económicas igualmente manipuladas e inconsistentes metodológica y procesalmente los intríngulis del orgón castrista.

Tampoco deberíamos desconcertarnos si ninguno de nuestros sin dudas brillantes economistas de esta o aquella universidad nacional o extranjera, de aquel instituto o centro de investigaciones económicas, o el mismísimo presidente de la comisión económica de la ANFU repara en tal banal detalle, si las propias entidades del sistema de la Organización de Naciones Unidas e instituciones regionales como la CEPAL a las cuales el gobierno cubano está obligado a informar periódicamente, consideran el hecho irrelevante. Que decenas de instituciones científicas de investigaciones sobre Cuba; que cientos de expertos, analistas y cuanto plumífero “Lazarillo de Tormes” encuentre la oportunidad de obtener un “grant” público o privado, para insertarse en el generoso nicho de mercado de cualquier asunto de raíz cubana; sorteen igualmente por incompetencia profesional o complicidad oportunista tan insulso asunto, no es algo sustancioso para perder nuestro merecido sosiego, porque al final la “Revolución” siempre ha sido generosa en su “id”.

De lo que se trata por consiguiente, es de aproximarse a pesar de tales desbordadas y amenazantes lagunas conceptuales, a la “Visión” neocastrista del presidente.

Lector furibundo desde su juventud de cuanto manual y panfleto soviético le pusieran en las manos, el frustrado locutor de radio de donde proviene su característico engolamiento de la voz, no desconoce el sistema de “leyes objetivas” que “rigen” el desarrollo de la sociedad socialista que anuncia comenzar a construir luego de su adecuada preparación por 52 años y medio, oportuna y convenientemente catequizadas y digeribles por los solícitos plumíferos de aquella afortunadamente esfumada Academia de Ciencias de la Unión Soviética. Mucho debe lamentar el locutor nacional la carencia de un oportuno servicio de actualización que le dicte las nuevas “leyes objetivas” a aplicar en las condiciones particulares de su sórdido y carcomido feudo socialistoide.

Y entonces ocurre que tanto esfuerzo límbico y financiero por describir y desentrañar las claves de la “energeia” del área de Broca del general son baldíos, porque él se encarga cínicamente de simular una afasia en tal región [Afasia de Broca] al no referirse jamás a aquello que los escribientes soviéticos nos vendieron como la ley económica fundamental del socialismo:

"Únicamente el socialismo permitirá extender ampliamente, y subordinar de verdad la producción social y la distribución de los productos partiendo de consideraciones científicas acerca de cómo hacer fácil en grado máximo la vida de todos los trabajadores y, lograr que les proporcione la posibilidad de bienestar" [3]

Es decir, el paraíso terrenal en forma de estado del bienestar socialista ha sido borrado de la memoria semántica neocastrista y no forma parte de los planes de propaganda en la consecución del nuevo paradigma social, aunque grite a todo pulmón de general de cartón que, “Fui elegido para defender, mantener y continuar perfeccionando el socialismo, no para destruirlo” [4]

Mientras que aquello que seguía “Es algo que debe quedar muy claro porque representa la firme voluntad del pueblo cubano al aprobar en febrero de 1976 en referéndum, con el voto directo y secreto del 97,7% de los electores, la Constitución de la República, la cual en su primer artículo expresa: ‘Cuba es un Estado Socialista de trabajadores, independiente y soberano, organizado con todos y para el bien de todos, como república unitaria y democrática, para el disfrute de la libertad política, la justicia social, el bienestar individual y colectivo y la solidaridad humana’” [5]; no ha vuelto a ser mencionado ni por un despistando gacetillero trasnochado, en tanto hoy la ley fundamental que el Neocastrismo le ofrece a sus súbditos es explícitamente elocuente, expedita y tan raigalmente criolla como “lucha tu yuca pichón”.

El general no se detiene en reparar en nimiedades tecnicistas tales como que Cuba no fue, ni es, ni será un “estado socialista” ni en la más flexible de las concepciones occidentales, ni ante la mirada escrutadora de la rancia y frustrada ortodoxia “socialista-marxista-leninista”, que no pierde oportunidad de martillárselo inmericordiosamente; como tampoco se corresponde con una “clase trabajadora”, ni bajo el eufemismo manipulador del término trabajadores por cuenta propia o “cuentapropismo”, porque ni se ajusta a la estructura social y grupal de la actual sociedad cubana, ni satisface los requerimientos taxonómicos de cualquier corriente sociológica que se desee emplear, para no detenernos en la “muela” del “…disfrute de la libertad política, la justicia social, … y bla, bla, bla,….

Con un salario medio global reportado de 448 pesos cubanos, sin que medie la más elemental referencia ponderada a las unidades monetarias en uso y su contraparte en la inescrutable estructura de bienes y servicios para un observador extranjero, el mismo se mueve entre un máximo de 550 pesos cubanos en el sector de minería y canteras [lo que es un galimatías inexcusable en tanto la actividad de canteras es minería por definición y función] y un mínimo de 366 pesitos kubiches para los “desvalidos” sociales del comercio, la gastronomía y la hotelería, a los que los insensibles burócratas de la contabilidad cubana injustamente no les registran los ingresos en especies tan apreciados socialmente como reservacione$ y asignacione$ por libreta o liberada$; cervezas y rones en latica, botellas o a granel; cigarros y tabacos con anillos de cohíbas y hojas de Bartolo o de Robaina; enseres de plomería y/o de oficina, gasolina y lencería, croquetas y langostas, frituritas de soya y filetes de ternera; favore$ concedido$, cobrado$, pagado$ y adeudado$ con y sin intereses. Todo ello congruente pero a la vez elusivo a los impecables diagramas [y anagramas o crucigramas] “químicamente puros” de tanto idiota reverenciado en esta aldeíta global que insistimos en denominar planeta.

A propósito de los salarios con respaldo productivo que tanto apasionan al general y le estimulan el hipocampo hasta el paroxismo orgásmico, mis buenos amigos de la actividad de canteras seguramente no pudieran explicarle la naturaleza del timo que constituye el salario con “respaldo productivo” que se determina en la directiva de alguien que fija la relación “planificada” [6]; [otro eufemismo de la inagotable colección de la burocracia castrista para evitar mencionar el vulgar “a dedo”] salario-producción [Coeficiente Salario/Producción como les gusta denominarlo a los ases de los planificadores cubanos], pero si pueden bajo los efectos de un hipocampo baratamente estimulado con un buen “litro” pero siempre “off the record”, que una infinitesimal “corrección” en la macada, la piedra de ¾, la gravilla o la arena lavada, productos todos cuyas producciones se cuantifican por toneladas métricas pero se comercializan por metros cúbicos sin entrar en eso detallitos insustanciales a líderes, burócratas y académicos de las diferencias en el peso especifico de cada métrico cubico de áridos y que quintuplican por arte de birlibirloque sus 550 pesitos kubiches. Claro está, estos son mis amigos canteros con educación general integral y especializada gracias a la Revolución, porque cualquier hijo de vecino sabe que el tiro directo de áridos de las canteras al reparto Santa Marta tiene supremacía sobre un estratégico, enclaustrado y colindante Varadero, no importan cuantos contadores, militantes del partido, cuadros, segurosos y chivatientes pongan a custodiar por grano de arena.

Y es que se puede repetir infinitamente el experimento de preguntarle a decenas de personas que cantidad de arena hay en una “pila” y las desviaciones de las observaciones estadísticas invalidaran sus resultados. Simple montón de arena del profesor Bart Kosko [Ver Paradojas swro’V], magistralmente empleado por el homus economic “de a pie” del kubiche insurrecto para reparar, ampliar o construir su casa, negocio, corral de puercos, o status social y, de cuanto otro kubiche previamente insurrecto en su entorno natural [la insurrección es condición sine qua non, sea de origen autóctono vía otras decenas de miles de “pilas” de cosas estatales que satisfacen la condición de difusidad cuantitativa tan común al sistema biranense para ser objeto impune de reapropiación, o externa, en virtud de la “FE” -familiar en el exterior-, que el homus economic kubishe de una u otra forma también la considera como un objeto de reapropiación natural], disfrute de esa capacidad adquisitiva que convierte a sus necesidades en concretas y precisas demandas estructuradas y no en angurriento “pichón” pendiente de la concreción de la ley económica fundamental del estado de bienestar biranense.

A ello cierta academia, cuya coincidencia no es solo casual sino en ocasiones causal, [como se verifica en esta modalidad de la “batalla de ideas” en que se ha transformado el Carril II de la Torricelli castrista, que es el intercambio cultural y reflexivo unidireccional] con los castristas y ahora neocastristas históricos y sin historicidad, como corresponde a los famosos polos de la metafísica esencial de Marx, le denominan corrupción. El que hace el cuento, que fue contador, planificador, cantero y también jefe de todos ellos en su momento, lo conceptúa como uno de los ejemplos supremos de esa escasa cualidad humana que es el sentido común, el menos común de los sentidos. Puro, excelso y supremo Homus Economic Kubiche.

Entonces esta renuncia ontológica al estado del bienestar del Hipolito de Biran, es una sustanciosa prueba de que el Homus Economic recorre algunos pasillos y se asoma a ciertos despachos aunque sin llegar a ocupar una butaca ejecutiva.

De esta manera el “no coger lucha” comúnmente considerado como una actitud de indolencia social, es en sí mismo la manera de “coger lucha” del homus economic kubiche, en tanto norma conductual de supervivencia, es cierto, pero también con una arista insurrecta que define con precisión neurológica el mapa del proceso estratégico de liquidación no solo de los restos del estado de bienestar del Hipólito de Biran, sino también de un desesperado Modesto neocastrista.

Y como aprecia el kubiche de Atares [popular barriada de bajos ingresos en Ciudad de la Habana] que solo esta graduado de la universidad de la calle , -la más concretamente útil de todas- la denominada por tirios y troyanos locomotora de la economía cubana[7] esta sistémica enferma, pues crece según datos oficiales un 18% en turistas en los últimos 4 anos, pero en términos de ingresos brutos no solo no sigue la tendencia de arribo de visitantes, sino que incluso son inferiores al record del 2007 de 2,236 millones [millones de qué?, se pregunta el kubiche que no cree en aquello de unidades monetarias y tasas de cambio oficiales y que numerosos expertos toman como fuentes de sus análisis], a pesar del sustancial incremento del índice de precios de los insumos de la industria.

Por cierto, alguna de las numerosas organizaciones políticas que en Cuba y en el extranjero que se oponen activamente al régimen, habrán considerado la implementación de un programa para desestimular el turismo canadiense a Cuba que representa casi el 40% del mercado?

Además porque el estado de bienestar sino es parasito de fuentes externas, muestra una dinámica en su registro y aplicación de patentes impresionantes, algo muy lejano de lo que podemos observar en Cuba donde solo se solicitaron 266 patentes, 203 de las cuales son extranjeras. Una rápida lectura permite conocer que las tasas de autosuficiencia y dependencia se deterioran en los últimos 6 anos. Por otro lado solo el 8% [22] de las solicitudes de patentes se refieren a modelos industriales, de las cuales una es de origen nacional. Todo el inmenso caudal científico-técnico creado en 52 años y que entusiasmadamente ponderan desde personalidades mundiales hasta el mascador de coca andino, se concreta en una solicitud de registro de un modelo industrial.

Mientras unos quieren imbricar su intereses comerciales en el espacio que ofrece el cuentapropismo mediante los microcréditos y otros desentrañan los misterios nunca antes expuestos en 50 anos de los “otros paredones”, el simple y sabio kubiche implanta records negativos de natalidad y positivos de emigración con el humanamente comprensible fin de no formar parte el mismo con sus nombres y apellidos de pila de los records anuales de defunciones.

Entonces, desde toda perspectiva conceptual, terrenal y divina, la renuncia explícitamente manifiesta al estado de bienestar de los pichones, y su sustitución por el paradigma social de “Lucha tu alpiste pichón”, asumida con la misma mano de hierro de siempre por Raul Castro, es revolucionaria y humanamente justa.

Estoy kubichamente de acuerdo.

Anuario Estadístico de Cuba 2010

La Oficina Nacional de Estadísticas (ONE) está concluyendo la elaboración del Anuario Estadístico de Cuba 2010 (AEC), que constituye la vía para dar a conocer la estadística oficial del país. El AEC es una importante fuente de estadísticas demográficas, sociales, económicas y medioambientales, desagregadas a nivel territorial en varios de sus indicadores. En esta ocasión la ONE estará homenajeando al Memorial José Marti en el décimo quinto aniversario de su inauguración.

Es propósito de la Oficina Nacional de Estadísticas nuevamente, poner a disposición de todos los interesados, en el menor tiempo posible esta información y responder a las nuevas exigencias de los usuarios, utilizando los avances tecnológicos que posibilitan una difusión más oportuna.

[6] Toda la complejidad del proceso de planificación de la empresa estatal socialista como “forma principal” de la actualización del “Raul-Modesto” sistema de la economía cubana, reside en un knowhow cuya sofisticación tecnológica más avanzada es una calculadora de bolsillo de un dólar, donde incluso son innecesarias algunas de funciones asociadas a las cuatro operaciones básicas de la aritmética [4] que nos legaron los antiguos, salvo que el planificador haya cometido un error y donde la división o sucesivas iteraciones de una resta, es la función fundamental, tal y como demostraba paternalmente un Fidel Castro desde su Olimpo, construyendo 100 mil viviendas al año o más productos lácteos per cápita que Holanda, solo con la asistencia de una calculadora y una libreta de notas.

Las cifras directivas [desde un tiempo a esta parte denominadas “indicativas] para el quinquenio recibidas de “arriba”, son objeto de división por cinco [5], con lo cual se obtienen los respectivos planes anuales por cada categoría del “plan”, permitiendo determinar en esta compleja fase de su elaboración conocida como “desagregación de las cifras”, los correspondientes planes trimestrales y mensuales a cuyos cumplimientos alguien le prestara la mayor atención o sencillamente ninguna, en dependencia de su posición en la pirámide de castas burocrática-empresarial, dividiendo respectivamente por los complejos números cuatro [4] y tres [3]. Cualquier otro esfuerzo por introducir otro procedimiento econométrico extranjerizante a pesar de tantos recursos invertidos en licenciaturas, maestrías y doctorados, era objeto de acusaciones de “diversionismo económico” en el pasado y de inmadura e irresponsable incomprensión burocrática en el presente.

[7] Simplificación grosera del término que considera solo los ingresos brutos en divisas y no los ingresos netos, ni el rendimiento de la industria como negocio de servicios turísticos y mucho menos el de la multibillonaria inversión subutilizada en su capacidad potencial. Pero aun es más grave el despiste concreto-conceptual, cuando no se evalúa el factor integrador [clúster] del tejido económico que dimana del concepto.
